Today, CRSSD announces one of its most wide-reaching lineups to date for its Fall 2023 Edition, returning to Downtown San Diegoâs Waterfront Park September 23 + 24.
Just a year ago, Miami Music Week graced March in 2022. Now, one of the largest week-long music festivals is coming back to sunny Miami for 2023. Miami Music Week 2023 will be taking place from March 21 to March 26. The week-long festival will feature a jam-packed schedule of club events, pool parties, hotel parties and so much more. Here is a running list of the massive events and performances you can expect during Miami Music Week.
Artists will never come unprepared to a party. They always bring a toolbox packed with tracks that are truly dance floor destroyers. âWhatâs in Your Toolboxâ features artistsâ secret weapons, aka, the tracks they donât leave out of their USB. In this installment, Parisian artist POPOF Shares his 6 choice picks that scream original techno in the form of Acid, Rave, amazing remixes, and dancefloor stompers â as well as a couple of song picks that have also been released on his own imprint FORM Music. Being a highly demanded name within the world of Techno and House music, POPOF has worked alongside other well-recognized artists within the industry such as Depeche Mode, Chemical Brothers, Moby, BookaShade, Vitalic, Tiga, Maetrik, Martin Solveig, as well as many respected labels within the scene. From releasing many worthwhile tracks since 2015, it’s no surprise that POPOF is making 2023 another year of unforgettable releases and performances for his audience.
Born and bred in the Welsh city of Swansea, the now London-based brother duo Trutopia (aka Ashleigh and Kristian) are taking the house scene by storm. Bringing their own take on creating classic house music combined with their own elements, it’s no surprise that they’ve been internationally recognized as being a serious house duo within the scene. From consistently releasing labels such as Strictly Rhythm, Nervous Records, and many more, as well as gaining support from the likes of Pete Tong on BBC Radio 1, and amassing over 2 million streams on Spotify, the duo shows no sign of slowing down.
As residents of Ibiza Rocks, Trutopia have been shaking up the dancefloors in Ibiza, the UK, Hong Kong, Sydney, and Amsterdam with their top selections and infectious stage presence. Notably, they live by their motto of “keep it moving” â and, that is exactly what you can expect them to be doing in the foreseeable future. As of late, the duo has released their single Lights Off on Get Physical alongside Greta Levaska.
It was only a week ago that Seismic introduced their world-class artist lineup â a lineup with the most celebrated names in the house, techno, and electronic music scene. From November 11th to the 13th, Seismic’s three indoor and outdoor stages: Volcano, Tsunami, and Frequency encapsulated the Texas region with distinctively curated production and sound elements.
Of course, Texas is all about “go big, or go home”, and Seismic truly represented their brand with the festival taking place at The Concourse Project â a seven-acre venue run by the RealMusic Events team. Go big indeed, because the venue was recently nominated by DJ Mag as part of their Best of North America 2022 awards, and was categorically recognized as being one of the “Best Large Clubs” by DJ Mag.
Thereâs much more to Shiba San than what meets the ear at first listen. As a two-time International Dance Music Award-winning producer with over 15 #1 Beatport tracks, thereâs a reason why DJ Mag France named Shiba San “Best of House”. Leaving behind a 15-year-long career in the French hip-hop scene, the Parisian producer became fascinated with the sounds of Chicago house and was inspired to create his own productions, infusing his hip-hop influence with the soul of house music.
His critically acclaimed record label, Basement Leak, is also home to some of the finest tech house tracks on the scene right now. Since the labelâs inception in 2017, Basement Leak has taken over stages at renowned festivals and curated its own events at Art Basel, Miami Music Week, FriendShip, Groove Cruise, Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles, and Faust in Paris.
Staying quiet on the public front, Shiba San remains a curious enigma to his international fan base, allowing the music to do the talking for him. In between releases and time spent concocting in the studio, Shiba San remains a mainstay on the nightlife and festival circuit around the globe. There are no signs of slowing down for the Parisian producer.
