Rave the Planet Put on an Inaugural Show This Past Weekend

A new iteration of Love Parade, Rave The Planet, went ahead in Berlin this past weekend. The event is described as a “techno-leaning parade similar to the iconic event which last went ahead some 15 years ago.”

In a new chapter for Love Parade, the Berlin-based event went through July 9 – 10 featuring 150 different DJs and several afterparties at venues across the city including Anomalie Art Club and Ost Hafen. Traveling seven kilometers across the capital, the parade kicked off in West Berlin’s KurfĂŒrstendamm to the Großer Stern monument in Tiergarten.

The iconic summer festival series Splash House has announced the artist lineups for the second and third editions of its newly expanded triple weekend season in 2022. Celebrating its ninth year and fresh off of a successful first June edition since 2019, Splash House continues to cement itself as a perennial favorite in the summer festival calendar by fusing forward-thinking electronic music, poolside partying, and resort amenities with the desert landscapes of Palm Springs.

The Warehouse Project’s XXL Returns This Fall

XXL is returning to Depot Mayfield this autumn for another iconic Warehouse Project show. The promoters are hosting the likes of Amelie Lens, I Hate Models, VTSS, Theo Nasa, Charlotte De Witte, Richie Hawtin, Arkane, Helena Hauff, Tigerhead, ØTTA, and more.

These techno and electronic performers will be spread across five stages — Depot, Concourse, Archive, and two floors of the Star & Garter with a ground floor takeover by Berlin broadcaster HÖR. Last year’s XXL featured many of the techno stars who are returning for 2022, including Amelie Lens, Charlotte De Witte, Helena Hauff, and Jeff Mills. The show was accompanied by stunning visual art which captured audiences and enhanced the rave experience.
