Just a year ago, Miami Music Week graced March in 2022. Now, one of the largest week-long music festivals is coming back to sunny Miami for 2023. Miami Music Week 2023 will be taking place from March 21 to March 26. The week-long festival will feature a jam-packed schedule of club events, pool parties, hotel parties and so much more. Here is a running list of the massive events and performances you can expect during Miami Music Week.
Collectively known as Solardo, the duo is comprised of production duo Mark Richards and James Eliot â both hailing from Manchester, England. In conjunction to having the rise of their hard work with a slew of releases and collaborations from Viva, Elrow, Hot Creations, Carl Cox, Duke Dumont, Gorgon City, MK, Nicole Moudaber, and many others, the prolific duo is once again stepping into the new year with another memorable flare. On March 3rd, 2023, Solardo will be releasing a collab single with fellow British DJ and producer Idris Elba on the feel-good club tune “Big Talk” via Ultra Records. Playfully dirty, the new release leans its weight on an undeniable beat and equally hypnotic hook, but leaving it at that undercuts of the sexy nuance and swelling basslines.
Next to an exciting release schedule, Solardo is also touring across the globe in festivals and clubs in MĂ©xico, Brazil, the US, Croatia, and Ibiza. Solardo will be touching down in Miami at the end of March for Miami Music Week, where the pair will be playing at ANTS at the Oasis on March 22, Vintage Cultureâs party at SLS on March 23, No Sugar Added at the Magic City Villa on March 25, and at the Resistance Club on March 26.

We love having music all around us and wouldn’t want it any other way. A thrilling orchestral crescendo can make us cry and give us the chills. Swells in the background give movies, and TV shows an emotional impact. At baseball games, musicians get us all up on our feet and cheering.
Therein lies an intriguing biological puzzle: Why is music universally adored and singularly effective at evoking emotions so widespread and significant to us?
In case you’ve been living under a rock for the past few months, AI has been all the rage and craze. Especially with the release of various art generating programs, ChatGPT and more recently Bing’s AI there has been huge amounts of controversy on various levels. People are both fascinated and concerned about the growth of use in these programs and what the future will bring with them. Other than your typical “skynet overlord robot masters” fear, people in the music world are definitely sweating what’s coming next. Will AI replace artists in the dance world especially within the house and techno realm? Is this the beginning of the dark dystopian music world that ironically techno has always been associated with? Or is this a new realm of possibilities for all genres of music?
Based in America, Julien Earle is known for being a YouTube content creator who makes videos that share production tips and tricks with aspiring music creators. Showcasing his talents in the studio, Julien Earle’s style is mainly orientated around Techno, but he takes influence from other electronic music genres as well. Now, Julien is back on his record label REFLECTION with a brand-new peak time Techno release, the same Techno style that has also been released on other imprints including UMEK‘s 1605, Spektre‘s Respekt, Pleasurekraft‘s Kraftek, and Ramon Tapia‘s Say What?, as well as earning him collaborative projects alongside The YellowHeads and Beico. Julien’s recent peak-time project features two versions of Close Your Eyes, both produced by himself, as well as an extended mix with fast and furious grooves of electrifying synths and thundering percussion. From pulsating energy, flickering acid soundscapes, stabbing melodies, and throbbing basslines, Close Your Eyes is a ride full of enthralling energy â a rollercoaster ride of elements that Julien intends to carry into 2023.

Yoga and techno â an unexpected duo that can you give the best of both worlds: dance and inner peace. By definition, yoga is a Hindu theistic system of physical postures, breathing techniques, as well as meditation â and, from the teachings of Buddha, the discipline of yoga can lead to spiritual freedom â spiritual freedom that we know as âNirvanaâ. Ironically, within the scene of techno, rave culture, clubbing culture, and so on forth, Nirvana is not an unknown concept on the dancefloor â in fact, within these various realms of dance and freedom, Nirvana is physically experienced through psychedelics, shrooms, MDMA, alcohol, and various unhealthy practices.
So, all this to say, is that techno and yoga do make sense ironically â however; on this search for Nirvana, weâre not going to partake in a culture of pill-popping and pre-gaming, but rather a healthier way of achieving Nirvana.
