NoNameLeft are a Hungarian duo that have been simmering for a while with releases on the likes of Mark Reeve’s SubVision, The YellowHeads’ Reload and LampĂ©’s Alula Tunes, but it looks like they are starting to reach boiling point with a debut on UMEKâs 1605 thatâs too hot to handle.
LA-based label Shadow Wulf returns with their third various artist compilation featuring 17 ferocious tracks from new and returning artists hailing from across the globe. With a carefully curated selection of tracks from world-class underground progressive, minimal, and psychedelic techno artists, this growing label has truly shown its strength and capabilities in its third compilation.
Vol. 3 pulls together artists spanning from the more guttural/minimal techno, to the mind-bending psy-tech, to the beautifully dark progressive â all sounds blending together for a uniquely captivating release. This time, the tastemakers at the helm include South Zone, Chris Nord, Tomchilla, LEKTRK, mrmsoun6, Le Son Du Placard, Rupt, Probe, Psychoz, Zandre Van Zyl, APHE, Hubry, Todd Duff, JNTN, Johnny Witcher, TechDeeJ, VA O.N.E, Ever Tapia, Biowave, and Parus Major.

Out now is a new techno EP titled Unsolved Case from a talented producer, Alessandro Cocco who hails from the Italian city of Rome, but has also spent a considerable amount of time in the UK. His stint overseas was not only to experience a new life abroad, but to study sound design, ultimately enhancing his creative process for music-making. Being able to use specialist equipment and sampling the known wealth of club culture in Englandâs capital must have been a valued addition to his process.
Dominik Fröhlich is an up-and-coming techno artist from Nuremberg in Germany, and his latest release showcases an eclectic mix of styles. The five-track EP titled Nacht is out now via Dominik Fröhlichâs own record label Hakiri Records, which is a regular outlet for his music, but he has also contributed releases to the likes of Mind Games Recordings as well. This five-track EP ranges from broken beats to four-to-the-floor grooves and switches between deep and explosive aesthetics, so there is something for all tastes. Read more
Suleiman is a gem of a record label that has been running since 2016 with a sound that floats between deep techno and minimal house. Its release schedule is slow and steady with a focus on quality rather than quantity, and this is reflected in a roster of artists that include Cesare vs Disorder, Kris Wadsworth, Pheek, Onur Ozman, Robert Babicz, and many others of equal caliber. The record label has also featured music from its Canadian owner Darem Aissa and the most recent offering from the label is the EP Magnificent Madness by German artist Mathias SchaffhaÌuser.
1605 is the record label of Slovenian techno artist UMEK, and the imprintâs latest release is a new EP from the owner himself. Both tracks are peak time techno that ooze energy to whip the dance floor into a frenzy. Along with UMEKâs own music, 1605 has built up a roster of artists including up-and-coming talent such as Mhi iri, but it also champions the music of established names such as Space 92, Cosmic Boys, The YellowHeads, and Teenage Mutants.
UMEK has made 1605 a regular output for his own tracks, which in the past, he had also been featured on the likes of Christian Smithâs Tronic and Reinier Zonneveldâs Filth On Acid. Electronic music language can be heard by human ears but is only made possible by the capabilities of digital machines and intricate computer coding. With his Foreach Loop EP, Electrypnose expresses his discovery and interpretation of the connection between music production coding and the results given by the machines involved. Foreach Loop is his second release with Shadow Wulf.

Synthetik Sounds is back for its second installment after debuting on the scene in May 2022 with Eciloâs Protech The Skyline EP. With Ecilo at the A&R helm, as well as two of Los Angelesâs most revered underground brands, 6AM and Synthetik Minds, spearheading its mission, Synthetik Sounds is now an established home for techno artists whose sound remains true to the ethos of underground techno.
