NoNameLeft Releases New EP on 1605 Imprint

NoNameLeft are a Hungarian duo that have been simmering for a while with releases on the likes of Mark Reeve’s SubVision, The YellowHeads’ Reload and Lampé’s Alula Tunes, but it looks like they are starting to reach boiling point with a debut on UMEK’s 1605 that’s too hot to handle.

“Exaltation” is a solo EP that features three scorching hot tracks that are ready to set the dance floor on fire with their pounding drums. Blending dark atmosphere and tantalizing synth lines, NoNameLeft seem to be masters at finding the perfect balance between dark atmosphere and uplifting euphoria.

All three tracks have the signature 1605 style that UMEK and his record label have made their brand these last few years and NoNameLeft seem set to be at the forefront of a new wave of talent coming from the imprint.“Exaltation” opens the release with its explosive kick drum and tension building atmospherics that are soon joined by the uplifting tones of an ethereal lead synth that contrasts nicely with the otherwise dark atmosphere. “Mass Effect” is second of the two cuts and it’s got a growling bassline a twisted vocal sample that fills the track with a building intensity. “Crystalline Substance” closes the release with its dramatic bassline and spine-tingling synth line
