Julius Jung Releases “Esel EP” on Shadow Wulf
From the curious and creative mind of upcoming producer Julius Jung comes âEselâ [EP]. Julius has some fun with this release, proving that techno doesnât have to be so serious all the time. In this effort, he chose somewhat quirky / goofy track titles to describe sounds present in each composition. The first track “Der rĂŒlpsende Esel” translates to something like “the burping donkey” â an effort to jokingly describe the synth effects in the break of the track, which a friend of his noted sounded like a burping donkey. Julius decided to continue with this concept, and one night when he was woken up by a mosquito in his ear, he came up with the idea for the second track â âDie muckende MĂŒckeâ, which translates to something like, âthe rebellious mosquitoâ. In this second track, Julius sampled and processed a mosquito flyby sound as the lead synth. A mosquito presents again in the background FX panning from left to right throughout the groove, which never lets up its entertaining body-moving grip. Read more

Subios Label Boss, TiM TASTE Releases on Shadow Wulf
Newest release on Shadow Wulf is SW029, “Dizzy Bee” [EP] from German producer TiM TASTE. Subios label boss Tim has been hard at work cranking out peak-time techno tracks and this EP is no exception. The title Dizzy Bee was inspired by the chaotic flying FX sounds that resemble that of a tripped out, disoriented insect, and Minima focuses on taking more intricate minimal sounds and expanding them to their maximum potential for captivating driving peak time techno. This EP is Timâs third release with Shadow Wulf. Read more
