Ultra’s Underground Concept RESISTANCE to Debut Inaugural U.S. Club Residency at M2
ULTRA Worldwide’s esteemed underground concept RESISTANCE has evolved into a global powerhouse of underground curation since its inception in 2015, from programming stages at Ultra events in 35 cities internationally to organizing tours across Latin America and Asia. In 2017, RESISTANCE debuted its first-ever residency in Ibiza at the world’s largest nightclub Privilege, and has since welcomed house and techno heavyweights from around the world. Beatport to Become First Digital Music Retailer to Accept Bitcoin
Beatport is now accepting Bitcoin as payment from customers beginning in June. It’s leading the wave in this movement as it’s the first major digital music retailer to do so. They have also signed a partnership with Crypto.com to drop an expertly curated NFT titled “Music for Future Dance Floors” on April 23. Boys Noize, Charlotte de Witte, Risa Taniguchi, Sama’ Abdulhadi, Sasha and more are part of the compilation along with visual artist Leif Podhajsky.

Esto Es Tulum Announce End Of Year 4 Week Jungle Celebration with John Digweed, Seth Troxler, Luciano, Gerd Janson, Sasha, Job Jobse
The majestic Esto Es Tulum has lined up a perfect series of events to see the old year out and ring in 2019, all taking place in the ancient and beautiful Tulum, Mexico from December 28th to January 26th.
The mammoth 4 week end-of-year fiesta will start on Dec 28th and invite brands like Circo Loco, The Martinez Brothers, Bedrock, Luciano & Friends, Last Night on Earth, Do Not Sit On The Furniture, Muse, ANTS and Acid Sundays to the stunning jungle lagoon location of ’Cenote Casa Tortuga’, which translates to ‘Turtle Cenote’. For those unaware, a cenote is a natural underwater reservoir/lagoon which only occurs in the limestone of Yucatán, Mexico, making this one of the most unique and natural beautiful party settings in the world, please see images below.
GHEIST Share Their Top Studio Tips
Not even two years have passed since GHEIST first broke through. Fusing that rare narrative alchemy that sings across dance floors universally, they continue to tap into the essence of house and techno with a precision sense of playfulness and poignancy… And turn heads on every occasion.
This return to Sasha’s Last Night On Earth with their Somerset EP is no exception. The follow up to last summer’s Rufos EP, once again it shows the foursome at their most evocative, widescreen and, in the case of “Somerset”, most ardently euphoric. A beautiful tune named after the UK’s most beautiful county, it’s a rolling, break-based evangelizer that endlessly lifts with timeless rising chords and an innocent vibe hat can’t help but take you back to ‘Northern Exposure’-era 90s. “Nuan” offers serious uplift, too. The pay-off from an enduring deep drive, everything is based around the striking, crystalline vocal textures that help turn the track into something you least expect.
Already staples in Sasha’s sets, delivered on the cusp of festival season, hot on the heels of an equally hot Mobilee release: 2018 is shaping up to be a vintage for GHEIST.

Sasha returns to LNOE on January 26th with “Singularity”
Sasha is set to kick off 2018 with a bang with the release of his long-awaited track “Singularity” on his imprint Last Night On Earth. Set to be released on January 26th, also included is a remix of the track from rising star BAILE. A striking fresh talent, Sasha came across the Brooklyn-born producer’s texturally rich soundscapes online and knew he was worthy of attention.
The title track needs no further elaboration other than it is yet another hit from Sasha. And as far as the remix goes, BAILE delivers as well. With previous support from Pete Tong and a cult favourite on Hypemachine, BAILE turns his attention to ‘Singularity’, delivering a soulful eclectic rework.
