Breaking Through with NASAYA
Quickly emerging as a dynamic talent within the indie electronic music scene, NASAYA has become a force to be reckoned with. Staggering to new heights, the Los Angeles-based artist and producer joins ODESZAâs Foreign Family Collective for his latest EP, RĂVES that was released November 10th, 2022.
Following his latest successful single RUMMELSBURG and after recently supporting ODESZA on their Last Goodbye tour, RĂVES brings a refreshing and immersive new perspective to the dance floor scene in this musical masterpiece. Including four experimental tracks with pulsating beats and rich tones, the EP is sophisticated, yet romantic at the same time. Across the EP, fans can expect a consistent flow of mesmerizing and immersive bursts of energy. Fit for dancefloors from the UK, Berlin, and beyond, the featured tracks include âCIEL,â âREVES,â RUMMELSBURG,â and âTES YEUXâ all personalized and best described as a love letter for the rave.

Past, Present and Future with Drumcell: Observe & 20 Years of Pushing Techno in Los Angeles
This coming Saturday, November 26th, OBSERVE is celebrating 20 years of pushing techno in Los Angeles with a night featuring Chris Liebing‘s return to the warehouse, Rubidium from San Francisco, collective members and Los Angeles techno titans Drumcell and Truncate, as well as OKTAform on visual manipulations.
20 years is a lifetime in techno years. It’s a lifetime from the perspective of a techno fan, even more so from that of an artist but more so for that of an event curator. And yet, that’s how long Moe Espinosa (Drumcell) and the OBSERVE crew have been working to push techno in their home city of Los Angeles, laying the foundations for the thriving techno scene we enjoy in the city today.
Dreams Becoming Reality With Luuk Van Dijk
Bringing life to Amsterdamâs nightlife scene is Holland DJ Luuk van Dijk, the international DJ that always brings his infectious take on spirited house music inside and outside the studio. Since culminating his craft for countless hours at the age of 15, attending the Herman Brood Academy to further his musical vision and skills, and having artistic parents that pushed him to follow his dreams, Luuk has continued to be relentless in all of his musical endeavors â as such, this relentless side of him has earned him the prospect of becoming one of the most in-demand DJs in Holland.
After releasing on some of the worldâs leading tech-house labels such as Hot Creations, Cuttinâ Headz, Solid Grooves Records, and Eastenderz with his forged basslines and tight grooves, as well as having key performances at Circoloco, Paradise, DGTL, Awakenings, Fabric London, E1 London, Elrow, STRAF_WERK, along with a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, it’s no surprise that eventually Luuk would find himself on his next journey of launching his own label Dark Side of the Sun. After launching his label in 2020, the label has resulted in a series of superb releases by artists like Ben Sterling, Sidney Charles, Boris Werner, and even Luuk himself.

Vol. 3 pulls together artists spanning from the more guttural/minimal techno, to the mind-bending psy-tech, to the beautifully dark progressive â all sounds blending together for a uniquely captivating release. This week’s featured Guest Mix artist is Freeman 713 â a DJ/Producer hailing from the hills of Northern California. Real name Trevor Tappe, is based out of Los Angeles and is inspired by the sights and sounds of the early 2000s Hardgroove & Tribal Techno. Freeman 713 pairs Dense Tribal Grooves with High Energy Rave Vibes to create a versatile and potent blend of slamming techno. The sound is heavy and driving while still being groovy, sexy, and endlessly danceable.
6AM Guest Mix: Jeronimo Watson
Jeronimo Watson isnât trying to be the next superstar DJ, he just wants to play good music at high volumes. With over 15 years of experience as both a DJ and music producer, his dedication to each craft is apparent. While he is best known for DJing intimate gatherings in the mountains of Altadena, California, as well as throughout the west coast of the United States, his love for House and Techno has taken him all over the world and continues to do so.

Synthetik Sounds Releases 002 EP
Synthetik Sounds is back for its second installment after debuting on the scene in May 2022 with Eciloâs Protech The Skyline EP. With Ecilo at the A&R helm, as well as two of Los Angelesâs most revered underground brands, 6AM and Synthetik Minds, spearheading its mission, Synthetik Sounds is now an established home for techno artists whose sound remains true to the ethos of underground techno.
Listeners can expect the full EP to release on August 14th, 2022.
