Welcome to FĂRGE: The New Club Coming to Sheffield
A new nightclub is opening in Sheffield next month. Located in a former Victorian steel forge on Effingham Road, FĂRGE overlooks Sheffield & Tinsley Canal. The venue, which will run until 6 A.M., will feature a Pioneer sound system and LED lighting rig. The club will also primarily focus on artists within the U.K. techno scene.
Beatport ReConnect Summit Announces New York Lineup
Beatport has announced it will host the first-ever ReConnect Summit in Brooklyn, New York, on September 21st and 22nd. The two-day event will center around electronic music culture â featuring speakers from the business and artistic communities covering creative innovation, technology, Web 3.0, and more. Into the Festive World of Kyle Watson
Following a string of coveted festival appearances, sold-out headlining 2022 shows, and esteemed record releases, South African DJ and producer Kyle Watson is pleased to announce his forthcoming 12-date âMy Machinesâ tour. Kicking off in Tempe, Arizona in September and wrapping up in Denver, Colorado in late October, Watson will be presenting his brand-new show concept in some of the United Statesâ most venerated venues. The run will mark his first official U.S. tour since his âInto The Morningâ tour in 2018, which accompanied the release of his debut album.
In his âMy Machinesâ tour, Watson aims to tap into this expansive collection to develop a specially curated all-original Kyle Watson DJ set. Each show will feature a blend of the fresh and familiar, the old and the new, and a dash of personal edits and VIP mixes that have remained exclusive to his collection throughout his tenure as an artist. Alongside the auditory component of the experience, Watson has put together a visual element and brand that echoes the concept of âMy Machinesâ including custom visuals.

Andy Cato From Groove Armada Sells Catalog to Buy a Farm
One half of electronic duo Groove Armada, Andy Cato, has sold the rights to his own tracks in order to buy a farm. In a recent piece for The Guardian, Cato described his journey in the agricultural industry and how he set his sights on pursuing something bigger than just a self-sustaining farm in his back garden. âOn the way back from a gig 15 years ago, I read an article on the environmental consequences of food production. It made for sobering reading and ended by saying: ‘If you donât like the system, donât depend on it,â he said.
