UMEK Keeps the 2023 Releases Flowing with his ‘Exodus EP’

Making sure that 2023 really is a landmark where he is celebrating three decades in music, this two-track peak time techno release follows a solo EP and a collaboration with Harry Romero.

This release titled ‘Exodus’ includes two thumping techno tracks that combine UMEK’s trademark hard-hitting percussion, euphoric breakdown and dark atmospherics.

Taking no prisoners, UMEK once again delivers speaker-shaking grooves that are set to cause enrapturing mayhem on a dance floor.

“Exodus” is first up on the release with its thumping kick drum and sci-fi influenced vocal about robots taking over the world. Augmented with rumbling sub bass and dystopian atmospherics, it’s a brutal track with a tantalising breakdown that’s full of suspense.

“Night Will Never End” closes out the release with a throbbing bassline and rattling high-end percussion that is layered with the thump of a kick drum. This timeless techno track has its defining moment in the breakdown section, which has powerful vocals and emotive synth chords that create a spine-tingling atmosphere before the drums hit back in.
