As with every joint project by Sascha M and Munkler, the best of both worlds seems to come together seamlessly in their latest EP. Psychedelic and dark sounds meet intoxicating melodies and groovy beats. The producersā direction was to not set any limits and just let the music happen ā and so it did. The title track āNo Escapeā maintains an effortless groove and intricate percussive elements that have an almost magnetic pull in for the listener, and āPassionā was an inspired response to No Escape.
Munkler, a Swiss techno producer, stands for experimental sound design. His music is continually wrapped in groovy drum patterns and rousing basslines. Shrill and shocking atmospheres partner with dark sounds, massive synth lines, and beautiful melodies balance each other out. In addition to his solo projects, Munkler has released several collaborations on various labels such as Alula Tunes, Subios Records, Techgnosis Records (…) and is also co-founder of Grauton – Techno Podcast.
Sascha M is Munklerās co-founder on Grauton Techno Podcast, and a passionate techno producer/DJ. In 2021 his EP (Wanh) was released, which marked the starting point for many of the resulting great projects with Subios Records, Point Zero and Straight Forward. The 25-years-old from Zurich is also a member of Fragment8, a Swiss techno label.
No Escape [EP] marks Munkler and Sascha Mās first release with Shadow Wulf Records. The EP also features 1 remix from up and coming producer Black Hertz [Brazil].
