The xx Announce New ‘I See You’ Album

There’s a few reasons why we reported that The xx will likely be playing Coachella in 2017. The strongest of them all comes in the form of their latest album announcement, scheduled for release on January 13th 2017.

Entitled I See You the album has been a long time coming. Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim and Jamie xx have been working on the ten-track release for the best part of three years, doing work on the release in several locations throughout the world including New York, Marfa TX, Reykjavik, Los Angeles and London before completing it in summer of this year.

The three have already announced a series of upcoming shows to support the forthcoming album out on Yung Turks, and have released the first single, “On Hold,” to be featured on I See You.
