
Taiwanese company MIDIPLUS stirred some controversy this week after unveiling its latest product: a sexist and ignorant audio interface “specially designed for females” that looks exactly like a makeup palette.
Announced last month, the Mirror is part of the company’s “fancy series” has a mirror that pops open, surrounded by an LED light, and six colorful knobs that look like eye-shadow pans. It has a handful of ports labeled with small symbols to indicate USB, microphone, headphone, guitar and phone jacks.
