Premiere: Wrong Assessment Delivers Solo “8th Floor” EP on LA’s Ascetic Limited Imprint

Ascetic Limited is shifting gears, focusing on solo EPs dedicated to the artists that form the collective. To kick it off they present an EP from renowned Milanese techno producer and AWRY label boss Wrong Assessment, who throughout his career in techno has proven himself to be one of the most interesting producers coming out of Italy.

From his collaborative works with the late Max_M as Overall Severity to his solo works as Wrong Assessment, his tracks are always unique. Influences ranging from Minimal to hard pounding Techno bangers, through House grooves and Ambient arrangements, he still is able to transmit his sound and vision with his music.

Global Vibe Radio 102 Feat. Wrong Assessment

This week’s guest mix for Global Vibe Radio comes from Milan’s Wrong Assessment, a DJ/producer influenced by Jeff Mills, psycho-neuro-endocrino-immunology and Splatter B-movies.

Through his experience as a household name in DUDE CLUB’s line-ups and his endless brotherhood with Max_M, Wrong Assessment has refined his own take on techno, with releases on M_REC LTD, Mord, Planet Rythm, Parachute Records, C L E R G Y and the very label he has himself launched recently, AWRY.
His signature deep and churning techno sound has taken him to some of the most respected techno venues in circulation, including Tresor, MMA, Space (Ibiza and Moscow), Corsica Studios (London) and Khidi (Tbilisi).

Berlin based Voight is a new vinyl and digital project from a well known and respected source. Focusing on a puristic Techno sound, the label has already seen contributions from artists such as Oliver Deutschmann, Flug, GoldFFinch, Albert van Abbe and others.

ALPI are an Italian production duo that arrive on Voight following excellent releases for Arnaud Le Texier’s Children of Tomorrow and the legendary Dutch imprint Planet Rhythm. Having shared the DJ booth with artists such as Markus Suckut and Kobosil, they are one to keep a close eye on. The tracks on ther forthcoming Metropolis EP have an instant ingrained class, focusing on a mixture of tough broken rhythms, dubby sounds, ethereal textures and poignant harmonics.

Premiere: Listen to Wrong Assessment’s “SNGRVS” on AWRY

Hypnotic. Deep. Minimalistic. The first outing of Milan-based label AWRY comes courtesy of the founder and manager of the label himself: Wrong Assessment.

Known for his relevant collaborations with M_REC, Parachute Records, MORD, Ascetic Limited and Clergy, Wrong Assessment’s first EP on the label is a perfect showcase of the soundscapes he is capable of, as well as the multi-faceted approach of the label’s very own aesthetics and sonic outputs.

In spite of his short career he has already performed in well known european clubs like Tresor Berlin, MMA in Munich, Space in Ibiza, Corsica Studios in London, Khidi in Tbilisi among many more, and is scheduled for his United States and Los Angeles debut when he performs for Structure 3.5 alongside Ascetic Limited label-mate Viels, label founders Motionen and more.
