CRSSD Festival Offers WeTransfer Content Bundle

CRSSD Festival has partnered with the world’s leading file transfer platform, WeTransfer and gifted fans with a free batch of content in honor of their Fall 2017 event that took place this past September 30 and October 1.

Some of CRSSD’s most compelling artists provided some music for the project, as well as some more unique offerings such as Phantom’s infamous Vodka Soda drink recipe, Alex Wax’s signature vegan Pasta al Pomodoro recipe, and a sake cocktail recipe from Richie Hawtin’s own ENTER.Sake brand. Additionally, music from Hot Since 82, Lane 8, Patrick Topping, Jax Jones, Elohim, Prok & Fitch, Lee K, Hito, Elohim, and Cooper Saver were available to download for free through the WeTransfer platform.

CRSSD has emerged as a crown jewel in the festival circuit with some of the best DJs and live acts in the world performing in an unmatched waterfront location and endless amenities including gourmet food, craft beer and cocktails, and an impressive After Dark late-night party series. This year’s fall edition was no different as it has solidified CRSSD’s position as one of America’s premiere destinations for music devotees.

WeTransfer President Damien Bradfield Explains Why He Offered $10,000  To Laid-Off SoundCloud Employees

File sharing service WeTransfer made news this week when they announced that they are offering a $10,000 (ÂŁ7,614) “gift” to any of the 173 laid off SoundCloud staff that lost their jobs amidst the company’s publicized layoffs earlier this month.

Earlier in July WeTransfer President Damien Bradfield initially touched upon the idea with Handelsblatt journalist Alexander Demling during the Tech Open Air conference:

“What if each and every one of them had been offered ten thousand dollars to refrain from getting a job? To leave and start something. To leave and start working on the new future of music, whatever that might be.

“SoundCloud has always been the challenger. Look what they’ve achieved: they courted, vetted, groomed and trained these 173 people who specialize in music, technology and innovation. It seems sacrilegious to just let them go out and get regular jobs. We desperately need innovation. We need challengers.”

This coming weekend San Diego will play host to the return of CRSSD Festival and some amazing after-parties, following two successful editions in 2015.

The festival has partnered up with WeTransfer, a world’s leading file transfer platform, to give attendees a large gift of free content leading up to the Waterfront Park festival.

This amazing CRSSD media bundle features music from ODESZA, Jeremy Olander, Ryan Hemsworth, HI-LO, Gryffin, Sacha Robotti, Will Clarke, REZZ, Ardalan, Cassian, and Colour Vision’s Signature Pina Colada Recipe!

This week, the festival also released its grounds map and set times, allowing attendees to plan their weekend around their favorite artists.
