This week’s Global Vibe Radio mix and the milestone 300th episode of our series features Luke Slater, the chameleonic DJ, and producer who has shifted through the variants of techno music for over 25 years. As much as he has released music under his own name, he is no stranger to the concept of aliases; he is best known for his aliases such as Planetary Assault Systems, The 7th Plain, L.B. Dub Corp, Morganistic, and Mote-Evolver.
As the world says goodbye to 2021, DANZAH closes out a great year to the start of his career with his debut guest mix for 6AM Group delivering one hour of nothing but pure bass-heavy and driving techno straight from his studio in Melbourne, Australia. Starting off with a bright peak time energy, it slowly shifts to a darker and more hypnotic vibe as the mix progresses and features his latest release on Reload Black Label as well as tracks from other talented and upcoming artists alike.
Starting off December with an ambient fusion is Alex Tomb’s, Guest Mix. Fully known as Alexis Toumpouris, Alex Tomb was born in Nicosia in the 80s and he has always had a passion for electronic music since the early years of his life. At the age of 16, Alex had already bought two turntables and a mixer to start DJing, thus leading him down the musical path of techno. Eventually, in 2003 and 2004, Alex would take fifth place at the DJ Smirnoff Competitions, consequently gaining him more experience and increasing his popularity. As his popularity increased, Alex could only imagine that he would then be DJing regularly at numerous events and even playing alongside the likes of G-Pal, AMX, and Hernan Cattaneo.
6AM would like to welcome Brazilian duo The Primitive Soul to this week’s Guest Mix. Armed with their vast musical repertoire Lucas and Ricky have been building a profile that values the care and for the details of its sound aesthetics, characteristic that will propel their name among the bastions of the underground scene.
This week’s Guest Mix comes from Italian DJ and producer Alex Dolby. Having reached the coveted ground of over 15 years of releasing music and seen his high pedigree of creations landing on labels ranging from Global Underground, John Digweed’s Bedrock, to more recently Emmanuel’s ARTS.
This week’s Guest Mix comes from Cowlam. A progressive and melodic techno producer from Darlington, UK, he is quickly making a name for himself for his cinematic techno style. His sound includes deep and dark melodies, combined with energetic basslines set to take the listener on a journey,
23 year old Portuguese DJ and producer, Ornella delivers this weeks Guest Mix. Full of hypnotic waves and grooves that are sure to make you want to dance. Ornella’s atmosphere goes from acid, to industrial and hard techno. She loves to create those epic moments club goers love while out on the dancefloor.
