Barbados’ Vujaday Festival Announces Sasha, Bob Moses, Lee Burridge and Moodyman for 2019

Following their successful debut earlier this year in Barbados,Ā Vujaday Music FestivalĀ has returned to announce a stacked phase one lineup in preparation for their second year. The 2019 edition will take place fromĀ April 3-7Ā and will once again take place in different venues all across the stunning Caribbean island. This will give festival-goers the chance to take in a new experience and venue each day.

The phase one lineup for Vujaday 2019 features legendary Welsh DJ and producerĀ Sasha, a DJ set from iconic Canadian electronic duoĀ Bob Moses, Detroit house and techno stapleĀ Moodymann, All Day I Dream founderĀ Lee Burridge, a live performance from the Detroit based sibling duoĀ Octave One, Vivrant label founder and renowned Swedish musicianĀ Jeremy Olander, Brooklyn house duoĀ Bedouin, Life and Death founderĀ DJ Tennis, Berlin house aficionadoĀ YokoO, members of the fan-favoriteĀ Desert HeartsĀ collectiveĀ Mikey LionĀ andĀ Lee Reynolds, American production duo andĀ Crew LoveĀ membersĀ Soul Clap, Women on Wax founderĀ DJ Minx, Sheik ‘N’ Beik founderĀ Rechulski, respected Toronto residentĀ Nitin, and fellow Toronto native and current Barcelona residentĀ Jade.

Vujaday in Barbados Releases Aftermovie and Announces 2019 Dates

On the heels of a successful debut edition this past April, Vujaday Music Festival has released its after movie, recapping the performances and other highlights of the unforgettable debut as well as the beautiful locations it was held on.

Venue highlights from last year included Bellevue Plantation, a 100-acre property built in 1735 that features a pool, polo fields, and lush gardens surrounding the property. Another favorite was Cornwall House, which allowed those in attendance to witness a breathtaking sunrise while overlooking the gorgeous Eastern Coast of Barbados. Other venues were located directly on the beach and gave attendees the chance to sink their feet in the sand throughout the event.

Vujaday 2018 talent included Dirtybird favorite Justin Martin, revered Italian DJ Francesca Lombardo, house and techno legend Green Velvet, house favorites Lee Foss and Lauren Lane, Lee Reynolds and Mikey Lion of Desert Hearts, and much more including Mark Knight, Lee Burridge, and Wolf + Lamb to name a few. Vujaday Music Festival Hits Barbados with 2nd Wave of Artists Announced

From April 4th-8th, 2018, the stunning Caribbean island of Barbados will be graced with a new week long music festival called Vujaday.

Vujaday has been defined by the organizers as “an entirely new experience” and “like nothing ever seen or felt before,” as far as music festivals go. On its first edition, it will take place in a variety of unique locations around Barbados, leaving the first and last day of the week long journey for travel.
