As a record label, Chicago’s Vested does what its event mother brand has been doing since inception: curating quality music that blurs the lines between genres while keeping musical integrity whole.
The label’s fourth installment is no different. Featuring an original track from Lithuanian international music powerhouse â Donatello, and a quality and finely crafted reinterpretation from Russian progressive house mainstay Rise And Fall, Vested’s Futura EP drops on 29th December. Both artists involved with the release are recognized names in the own right, each known for carving their journey within their own musical landscapes for years now and with hefty release resumes to prove it. Today we are premiering both tracks, beginning with Donatello’s original entitled âFutura,â a deep and driving track that is Progressive House through and through, although peppered with elements of depth and tech that take listeners on a unique path through the track’s length.
In contrast, Rise And Fallâs remix is a darker and more melodic approach than the original, a timeless and classic progressive take that gives “Futura” a different take perfect for a DJ looking for a modern progressive track in their arsenal.
