THEOTHERSIDE is the new digital-only project by Metempsychosis Records. The third release of the series presents a single by End Train with a remix by Uun.

Human life happens at different levels, both in the mind and the body. The two are so deeply connected that changing one immediately affects the other. For instance, when we are worried and caught up in our thoughts, the mind sends signals to the body – leaving it closed and crunched. Premiere: Detroit’s Uun Releases Limited Number Cassette EP on Modern Cathedrals

Exhumed Tapes II is the second in a multi-artist series of cassette releases on the Modern Cathedrals label. With label art featuring small details of “important graves,” the series will dig into eery, broken beat techno with gritty textures.

The second tape features four tracks by Detroit-based artist Uun, whose work on the EP builds from careful and subdued atmospheres to aggressive percussion-driven tracks. In keeping with the themes of the series, the label art once again features the grave of an author chosen by the artist.

The release will be limited to 50 hand-numbered physical copies, but is also available for digital purchase via Beatport.

Uun returns to his imprint Ego Death with a four-track EP that showcases his progression in both sound design and atmosphere, available for purchase on Bandcamp.

Premiered today is A2 from the EP, entitled “The Tangled Web.” It’s a track with intense structure and filled with hypnotic, mesmerizing synths that brilliantly weave in and out of the percussive framework that the track is built upon.
