Los Angeles-based label Understated premieres the impressive remixes of their label stars Bad Eye, a duo from Boston. Some of America’s techno rising stars Bad Eye premiere four heavy remixes to their recent two-track Aphotic EP on Understated @ Nite. Understated’s Hannah Monica delivers today’s Guest Mix, and in so doing introduces us to Understated @ Nite, a brand-new label that concentrates on the dark, techno, melodic and progressive sounds emerging from LA’s thriving underground dance music scene.
The mix features tracks from the first EP on Understated @ Nite, which is titled Apothic and comes courtesy of Boston rising star Bad Eye and their two dancefloor-ready, driving and melodic tracks.
Tomorrow night, Friday June 7th, Los Angeles’ UNION nightclub will be taken over by In The Loop, the label and brand spearheaded by Lupe Fuentes.
The night will see Lupe joined behind the decks by renowned Chicago DJ/producer and head of Farris Records, Gene Farris, as well as Understated residents Monsieur Fraizer & Micah Smith.
