Kyiv introduces a new record shop, abo records. Three friends—Amir Hanani, Borys Stepanenko, and Oleh Baranovskyi—opened the shop last month to make up for the absence of music venues, which remain closed due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

In just one year, she played 60 shows in 20 countries, picked up 4.6 million Spotify streams, 30 million views on YouTube, and released tracks on influential labels such as AFTR:HRS, Get Physical Music, and Armada. Taking place at the city’s Knockdown Center on July 1st, 2022, the rave marks the label’s first international event and features a raft of Ukrainian artists, including Nastya Muravyova, Noizar, Bejenec (live), Voin Oruwu (live), and Nastia herself.
Clone Distribution has dropped Nina Kraviz and her трип label over the Russian artist’s response to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
The decision was outlined in detail last week via a post on Clone’s blog, written by founder Serge Verschuur (aka Serge). He criticized Kraviz for her alleged “pro-Putin” views and “CCCP/USSR sentiments,” as well as her decision “to stay silent” on the atrocities in Ukraine.
