Smokey Tails, a so-called ‘Beats & Eats’ pop-up restaurant created by the one and only Seth Troxler, Jo Vidler (Wilderness Festival co-founder), and culinary wiz Jona Ahearne has seen enormous success, with Troxler bringing the BBQ joint along with him for a number of residencies, hitting cities such as Melbourne, Sydney, Miami, and Amsterdam. After seeing overwhelmingly positive reception, the three co-founders have decided to secure a permanent location for the Smokey Tails brand, which will be permanently incorporated into Hoxton Square Bar and Kitchen (2-4 Hoxton Square, London, N1, 6NU, smack in the middle of East London’s robust culinary scene. The christening of this new location will begin on April 22. As Troxler says, “Music and food for me go hand in hand, they warm body and soothe the soul. With Smokey Tails I wanted to give people the same food that fed my soul through my childhood. We really wanted to create a place where I could share the food and spirit of my home and the recipes of my family.â
