Luke Slater Unleashes 7th Planetary Assault Systems Album, Sky Scraping, on Token Records
Iconic and legendary producer, DJ, live act and label owner Luke Slater is releasing Sky Scraping on Token Records, his seventh studio album under the Planetary Assault Systems moniker.
The UK techno icon returns to the Belgian imprint after the release of his Say It Loud EP earlier in 2021. Sky Scraping features 10 tracks, two of which were already proposed on the earlier EP on the label founded and spearheaded by Kr!z.
Premiere: PTTRN Debuts on Token Records With “To Disappear Completely” EP Including a Remix From Mike Parker
PTTRN follow up strong releases on labels like MindTrip and Float with a first high energy offering for Token Records. The record also marks Mike Parkerâs first outing on the label with a stunning remix in his inimitable style.
A natural fit for Token, the Belgian duo serve up a neat package of rolling contemporary Techno – driven but dynamic and broad in terms of tone. The production is decidedly refined and riffs on the classic posits of the genre, making the very most of very little.
Opener “Disappear 1” sets the scene: immediate, metallic material for the dance-floor and “Disappear 2” doesnât let the energy dip – a slice of pure peak time Techno executed with considerable deftness. Closing out the A side, “Disappear 3” opens things up, a marginally more airy take on the same dense, rhythmic work.
On the B side “Disappear 4″ goes deeper and more hypnotic but doesnât lose the energy that defines the record before segueing into Mike Parkerâs remix – a powerful dose of the classic sound that has made the artist one of the true mainstays of the genre.
Token is a Belgian label started by Kr!z in 2007.

Premiere: Kr!z and Pfirter Collaborate for “Purification of Malice” EP on MindTrip Records
MindTrip returns to the shelves with a new collaborative release titled Purification of Malice, introducing head honcho Pfirter sharing the same âroomâ with Token label boss Kr!z.
Their EP opens with Kr!z, presenting his first original material outside of his own platform; while on the B side, Pfirter extends his musical research with 2 trademark cuts. The final outcome is worth every second of the wait.
Token to Release EPs from Ă [Phase], Ctrls and Johannes Volk
Techno label Token has a strong series of EPs coming out in the following months.
Ă [Phase] is set to to release his first track since 2015’s Alone In Time? LP, as part of a three-track EP entitled Submerged Metropolitan which will be coming out March 17th. Next up it will be the turn of Ctrls who will follow on April 14th with Routing, an outing comprised of four tracks and two locked grooves. On May 12th it will be the turn of Johannes Volk, who will be releasing for the first time on Token with Designing Evolution.
