Fresh off a near 24-hour solo set at Sunwaves in Romania, Marco Carola and his Music On team have announced the lineup for their summer residency at Amnesia Ibiza.

The party is celebrating five years on the island and is one of the most sought-after destinations for partygoers in search of techno, tech house and house music. This year, those visiting Amnesia on Friday nights will be treated to music by a series of esteemed residents that include Stacey Pullen, Paco Osuna, Apollonia, as well as Music On regulars Leon and Neverdogs. While some of the additional guests are still to be announced, Sam Paganini, Green Velvet, Paul Ritch, Matthias Tanzmann, D’Julz, The Martinez Brothers and Dubfire are all set to play throughout the summer.

Music On boss Marco Carola is scheduled to play the Terrace every night of the residency that begins on June 3rd and ends September 30th. Unlike previous years, it seems that he will not be playing any open-to-close sets although Terrace guest DJs for August 12th and September 9th remain unannounced.

Find the full line-up for Music On Ibiza 2016 below. Tickets are available through Amnesia’s website.

Cocoon In The Park Announces Lineup for 2016

CocoonInThePark2

Located in the majestic grounds of Temple Newsam House on the outskirts of Leeds, the 8th successive edition of Cocoon in the Park is poised to continue its strong tradition as a diverse one-day affair with focus on music and production.

Surrounded by typically lush British countryside and armed with a massive sound system, this year’s Cocoon will take place on July 9th and will begin with three back-to-back sets starting with emerging label artists Annie Erez and Bobby O’Donnel. Next up, it will be the turn of Fuse London’s Enzo Siragusa to get on the decks accompanied by Rossko, followed by the combination of Eats Everything and Patrick Topping. The line-up continues with Chicago’s Green Velvet making his first Cocoon in the Park visit as a special guest before handing the booth to New York City duo The Martinez Brothers. Unsurprisingly, the night’s closing duties will be given to none other than the imprint’s leader, Sven Väth.

For those who haven’t been the venue before before, expect a natural green amphitheater with amazing acoustics and the perfect backdrop of the surrounding nature. Ensure you RSVP on Facebook for updated event information.

DJ Sneak burns bridge with The Martinez Brothers via Twitter

the_martinez_brothers_0
DJ Sneak and The Martinez Brothers (TMB) had some words to exchange on every DJ’s favorite platform to showcase their gangsta side….Twitter. Are we surprised at all here? Sneak is infamous on voicing his opinions on how he “really” feels making him the toughest DJ on social media hands down. It is rumored that the initial blast on TMB were because they failed to play at one of Sneak’s party in Ibiza which he openly denies. A few blows were thrown back & forth (see details below) with their tweet buttons and the NY Duo’s feelings were eventually hurt as they openly expressed their sadness that someone they once looked up and respected is now grilling them on Twitter for the world to see. This 15 minute of relevancy from DJ Sneak needs to stop, however, it is always fascinating to see him burn down another bridge. The big question remains, who will be next??

CuttinHeadz

The Martinez Brothers are coming to LA for a rare show on the West Coast. On May 14, they will play a label showcase for their very own Cuttin’ Headz imprint. The brothers, Steve and Chris, will be accompanied by Filsonik and Jesse Calosso, with the show being a perfect channel for the unique Cuttin’ Headz approach to dance music – a diverse range of NYC sounds, from fresh, stripped-down techno tools to one of the brother’s first loves, hip-hop. The showcase takes place at a downtown LA warehouse, located at 1006 S. Olive St. Tickets can be purchased here.

Other May tour dates for The Martinez Brothers include Vegas, Denver, Washington, and finishing off the US Tour with festival stops at Movement, Detroit and Mysteryland in New York.
