Based in NYC and Born in Cali Colombia, Secret Raver A.K.A. John Dikxon was first exposed to music as a child by his grandfather, who played guitar and piano. He started collecting cassette tapes by acts like Pet Shop Boys, Surgeon, and Depeche Mode. By age 14, he enjoyed house music at garage parties. He became interested in DJing, and in 2004 he started visiting more formal clubs.
Portuguese maestro Temudo is back on Soma Records bringing his powerful and direct brand of techno on his latest release, the Artifacts EP. Quickly becoming the name in the scene for destructive yet rhythmic techno, Temudo has been at the top of his game as of late with a plethora of releases and tracks across some of the most recognized labels. This latest EP on Soma has him bringing his adept and striking techno production to the forefront once again.
INQUIETUDINE is the work that CRAVO has prepared for its first release in Cassette and Digital format on ANAĂH, an âAâ side with 4 original tracks, with a fine and complex sound design, focused on the track at different times, but without losing the forcefulness that in recent years has characterized the Portuguese artist. Short leads that resemble strings from another planet, deliver a hypnotic message accompanied by classic and well-defined grooves, accompanied by nuclear bombs disguised as kicks, close hi-hats in complex figures that come and go out of the classic, and posing a serious and forceful proposal.
The âBâ side of the release is made up of 4 remixes by artists of the highest quality and to whom we give a welcome full of love and gratitude. Translate & Pulso, NĂRBAK, Temudo and Fixon, have been in charge of rethinking the history of CRAVO from their particular perspectives, giving personal approaches to each of the tracks that make up this wonderful release, ranging from deeper versions, to tracks that hammer forcefully the mind of the listener.
