Premiere: Tom Hades Remixes Highest Point’s “Apogee” on Subfigure
Following a blistering start to 2018, Tom Hades releases another statement of intent with his remix of Highest Pointās āApogeeā. Featuring on a four-track EP, Hadesā remix delivers 7-minutes of peak-time madness. Having released on a host of Techno based labels, he now makes his debut on the London based, Subfigure.
As with all of Hadesā productions, the remix sets the tone from the start. Kicking off with pounding kick drums and the straight down the line bass, that Tom has become well known for producing. Injecting a more industrial feel to āApogeeā, Hadesā allows the original vocal sample to echo out during the breakdown before taking things up a gear and once again delivering the forceful low end.
