Movement Detroit Announces Saturday Lineup with LSD, Amelie Lens, Josh Wink, Octave One and More
Paxahau and Movement Electronic Music Festival are taking a different approach to their lineup announcement this year.
In the fall of 2018 they went live with a lineup teaser, revealing the first 10 names scheduled to play the yearly appointment at Hart Plaza on the bank of the Detroit River.Ā Amelie Lens, DJ Nobu, Heiko Laux, DJ Bone, Hot Since 82, Floorplan, Orbital and Stephan Bodzin were all announced then, showcasing the diversity that Movement has been known to bring.
Today, they announced their full Saturday lineup,Ā featuring LSD (Luke Slater, Steve Bicknell and Function), Amelie Lens, Carl Craig, Disclosure, Loco Dice, Maya Jane Coles, Octave One, Seth Troxler, Soul Clap, Stacey PullenĀ and more.

Since the beginning of timeĀ there have been countless individuals who helped shape the music landscape. In celebration of Black History Month, we took some time to honor some of the most iconic DJ’s of recent times:

Music On Ibiza Announces Summer 2016 Lineup

Fresh off a near 24-hour solo set at Sunwaves in Romania, Marco Carola and his Music On team have announced the lineup for their summer residency at Amnesia Ibiza.
The party is celebrating five years on the island and is one of the most sought-after destinations for partygoers in search of techno, tech house and house music. This year, those visiting Amnesia on Friday nights will be treated to music by a series of esteemed residents that include Stacey Pullen, Paco Osuna, Apollonia, as well as Music On regulars Leon and Neverdogs. While some of the additional guests are still to be announced, Sam Paganini, Green Velvet, Paul Ritch, Matthias Tanzmann, D’Julz, The Martinez Brothers and Dubfire are all set to play throughout the summer.
Music On boss Marco Carola is scheduled to play the Terrace every night of the residency that begins on June 3rd and ends September 30th. Unlike previous years, it seems that he will not be playing any open-to-close sets although Terrace guest DJs for August 12th and September 9th remain unannounced.

Techno Therapy: 16B – Water Ride (Stacey Pullen Remix)
When an artist grows up listening to the sounds of Juan Atkins, Derrick May, and other Detroit legends thereās a strong chance that they too will become great. Stacey Pullen is a perfect example of such an artist. Bridging the gap between house and techno, Stacey Pullen has an uncanny ability for taking the crowd on a spiritual journey through the musical spectrum. Fortunately for Los Angeles, he will be gracing the decks at Sound Nightclub this Friday along with fellow Detroit legend, Carl Craig. Which is why Techno Therapy this week is dedicated to Stacey Pullen; hereās his remix of Water Ride that sends us on that journey.

His remix of Water Ride is such a well-rounded track it would be impossible not to move to this. Lush pads swirl gently in the background along with a sequence of verbed out rides that provide support to the classic house stabs. A timeless piece that shows his talent, but as we know his ability and range stretches wide across both house and techno. Weāre looking forward to a memorable night this Friday with him and Carl Craig at the helm. For now, this will be the Techno Therapy to get us through the rest of the week.
