Based in Poland, DEAS (aka Karol Mozgawa) is a DJ and producer who has a style of blending various types of techno. Creating music without boundaries, his expressive take on techno features a perfect balance of psychedelia, raw, deep, melodic, and heavy elements. As DEAS continues to hold two residencies at Smolna and Tama, top-notch venues in Poland, he is not stopping at becoming an unforgettable DJ and producer in Europe, but internationally as well.
Bendtsen returns to Shadow Wulf with his latest EP, Energy. The EP contains two captivating original techno tracks, âEnergyâ and âImposterâ with Bendtsenâs signature âdialogue styleâ â part of the track that is unfinished like a phrase, and another that accompanies an âanswerâ. On the tack, Bendtsenâs question-and-answer methodology will incorporate lead sounds and driving bass arps underneath that will push everything forward.
Since releasing his full-length LP Sky Scraping, Luke Slater is back as Planetary Assault Systems with another iconic EP titled Devotion. The track âDevotionâ opens the EP with what can only be described as raw drum machine psychosis. Slater whips up multiple, classic tom-based 909 sequences with impact â he keeps things straight to the point before introducing the defining vocal sample. Slater also appoints complementary scene Truncate and Barker for the remixes as well
Sara Landry returns with her next release on her HEKATE imprint joined by Netherlands national and close friend and collaborator, Don Woezik. The pair wrote all four tracks on the EP in just four days when Don came to visit Sara in Austin on his U.S. tour.

Saboâs record label Sol Selectas presents a collaborative release by Spanish artists German Brigante and Yamil. On this track, German Brigante and Yamil are both influenced by the traditional Gnawa music of Morocco as they incorporate funky basslines and melodic elements that are intertwined with tribal percussion, and ethereal vocal chants.

Best known by his aliases Latroit and Static Revenger, Dennis White is a Grammy Award-winning music producer that’s inspired by Detroit’s underground scene. His homage to Detroit techno also influenced is take on modern dance music.
For Music In My Mind, Dennis has revived his Static Revenger alias alongside the “dukes of disco” duo The Sponges (Ryan Slepin and Nik Eaton). The South Florida duo and Dennis create a dance-worthy track that incorporates a blend of groovy/disco, and tech-hosue elements. Reset Robot drops a new album on his label Whistleblower on May 20 with an impressive 13 track release that showcases his versatility as a producer. Covering a broad cross-section of genres, the release explores all corners of the dance floor while also incorporating some afterhours chill-out elements.
Based in the UK city of Portsmouth, Reset Robot has previously released on labels including ranging from techno imprints such as Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and Scuba’s Hotflush to house focused labels such as Sasha’s Last Night On Earth and the iconic Mobilee Records.
Although he is well-known for his club tracks, this album is a chance for David Robertson aka Reset Robot to explore the more obscure side of his music taste, and the output in a synthesizer laden body of work thatâs on a par with the seminal works of others such as Bicep and Burial.
Exploring brokenbeat rhythms, ambient textures and intricate melodies, this album is a thought-provoking selection that flows with a captivating suspense. Subdued and introverted, itâs got a lo-fi and dreamy aesthetic that occasionally lets fly into a dance floor orientated groove. âChords N Thingâ, âSingle Coilâ and âWavesâ are both examples of this, but tracks like âHow Deepâ, âCrowsâ and âUnknown Unknownsâ are at opposite ends of the same spectrum with their ambient moods.
The projects are often shrouded in secrecy, but in addition to his own music, Reset Robot also works behind the scenes with some of electronic musicâs biggest names, and this album is testament to why so many trust his production skills.
