Can’t Make It to Space Ibiza to Say Goodbye to Carl Cox? BE-AT.TV Will Live Stream It For You!

CarlCoxFinalChapter

Thousands of dance music fans are planning to make the trek to Ibiza this summer to pay homage to one of the scene’s greatest, Carl Cox, as he embarks on the final Music Is Revolution journey of his career before Space Ibiza is turned over to the group that owns UshuaĂŻa across the street.

Although the Intec Digital boss has announced his desire to continue playing on the island as a guest DJ, 2016 truly marks the end of an era with the Final Chapter becoming one of the hottest nights of the entire season. While many will be visiting the Space dance floor during one of the 15 Tuesday dates planned for the next coming months, thousands of others won’t be able to make the farewell celebrations.

It is for exactly this reason that live streaming service BE-AT.TV has jumped in to provide coverage of the entire 15-week season, bringing you two rooms direct from Space Ibiza every Tuesday, all night long.

Undoubtedly, Carl himself will be the main event of each party and live stream, but as a bonus this year’s final Music Is Revolution lineup is the residency’s largest yet, with the world’s biggest underground DJs paying their respects to the big man each week with their own unique take on house and techno. You will be able to see some of the industry’s best name in action from the comfort of your home or office, no matter where you are in the world: Luciano, Chris Liebing, John Digweed, Nic Fanciulli, Sasha, Adam Beyer b2b Ida Engberg, Joseph Capriati, Dubfire, Nicole Moudaber, Pan-Pot, Kerri Chandler, Loco Dice, Carl Craig, Nina Kraviz, Marco Carola, Matthias Tanzmann, Joris Voorn, Josh Wink, Monika Kruse, Marco Bailey, Danny Tenaglia, Francois K, Masters At Work, Yousef, Kölsch, Tania Vulcano, Cirez D, Guy J, James Lavelle, Cirez D, Carlo Lio, Julio Bashmore, Catz N Dogz, Davide Squillace, Hot Since 82, Deetron, tINI and DJ Sneak are all scheduled to play.

Sasha and Digweed to Play B2B Set at The Social Festival in September

Sasha

On April 1st the dance music community learned that two of the scene’s most respected and sought-after pioneers, John Digweed and Sasha, were planning a possible reunion.

Although at first it appeared to be an April Fool’s joke, staff from both camps confirmed the existence of an imminent announcement without providing more information.

Today, we have learned that Digweed and Sasha are set to reunite at Nic Fanciulli’s The Social Festival on Friday 9th September for a special back-to-back performance in celebration of the 20th Anniversary of their album “Northern Exposure.” The festival takes place in Fanciulli’s hometown in Maidstone, Kent in the South of England.

The official announcement, which you can see below, states that the show will be limited to 5,000 customers only. No further information has been provided as to whether the two acts will be playing any other shows in England or elsewhere around the world.

Confirmed! John Digweed and Sasha Announce World Tour

Sasha Digweed

On April Fool’s day, last Friday, we published what was obviously labeled as an April Fool’s story (complete with said statement) that John Digweed and Sasha were set to reunite for a back-to-back world tour over the spring and summer months.

What begun as a joke seems to have turned into reality, as both pioneers later that day announced a united project set to begin in September of 2016. They followed the announcement with a live website link where fans can sign up for more information:

While this announcement from both artists at first appeared to be a continuation of a viral April Fool’s joke, it is now being confirmed through other souces that it is in fact happening.

Below you can find the original April Fool’s Article:

“The day many electronic music fans have been waiting for since 2010 is finally here: the legendary John Digweed and Sasha have finally announced a back-to-back world tour to take place over this coming summer.

While not all dates have been announced yet, we know the duo will start things off at Exchange LA in between their scheduled Coachella performances and will continue on to a Warehouse party in Chicago, Output in Brooklyn and Stereo Montreal before jetting off for dates in South America. There, confirmed appearances include Warung in Brazil and Baum in Colombia with TBA stops in Buenos Aires, Argentina and Lima in Peru.
