Today, Boiler Room and Sama’ Abdulhadi will be collaborating once again to celebrate her historic Palestine broadcast reaching over 10 million views. Originally airing in 2018 alongside Sama’ Abdulhadi’s and Palestine Underground documentaries – the latter on Boiler Room’s 4:3 platform – the broadcast helped put Palestine’s underground music scene on the map. Alongside the 10 million views, the stream has been watched 1.7 million hours and has received 18 thousand shares – including people watching it at house parties, on their TV, cooking in their kitchen, at the park and more.

Sama’ Abdulhadi is launching a fundraising event series called Bring Back Beirut. The series will raise money for Nusaned, a humanitarian, community-based volunteer organization based in the Lebanese capital. The first event will take place at London club Phonox on Saturday, March 12 from 10 PM through 4 AM. Lebanese artists Jade Taleb, Sam Karam, and Tryangle Man will join Abdulhadi on the night.

Sama Abdulhadi Released on Bail, Awaiting Final Results of Case

Sama Abdulhadi has been released on bail by Palestinian Authorities following an eight-day detention in a Jericho jail. The 30-year old Palestinian electronic musician and DJ was released on bail by PA court order on the basis of a cash bond of 500 Jordanian Dinar bail and 2000 Jordanian Dinars bail bond and a restriction of travel order outside of Palestine.
