Singapore Nightlife Reopens After Two Year Hiatus

Authorities in Singapore have announced that the nightlife sector can reopen this month after two years of being shuttered. In January, the country allowed six music venues to stage pilot concerts at full capacity and with no social distancing.

Channel NewsAsia reported that Singapore’s Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Home Affairs announced that the nightlife sector will be allowed to fully reopen on April 19.

Following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the venue will now open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Later this year, the club also plans to resume its six-day schedule.
