Authorities in Singapore have announced that the nightlife sector can reopen this month after two years of being shuttered. In January, the country allowed six music venues to stage pilot concerts at full capacity and with no social distancing.
Channel NewsAsia reported that Singaporeās Ministry of Trade and Industry and Ministry of Home Affairs announced that the nightlife sector will be allowed to fully reopen on April 19.
Hamburg institution Golden Pudel welcomed back dancers and DJs, on April 1st.
Following a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the venue will now open every Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Later this year, the club also plans to resume its six-day schedule.
Berghain is reopening on Saturday, March 5th. The first Klubnacht will feature Lakuti, Ellen Allien, DJ Fart In The Club, Tobias., Dr. Rubinstein, Fiedel and others. The calendar for the rest of March includes Lakuti and Tama Sumo‘s.Ā
Brussels will see its nightlife spaces re-open on February 18, despite COVID restrictions still being in place throughout Belgium.
The move is part of a protest against the Consultation Committee’s lack of action over the reopening of the nightlife sector ā which has been shuttered since Autumn 2021.
