Kyiv introduces a new record shop, abo records. Three friendsâAmir Hanani, Borys Stepanenko, and Oleh Baranovskyiâopened the shop last month to make up for the absence of music venues, which remain closed due to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
TyCo London‘s passion for house music and techno began very early on when he discovered his love of music in the London clubbing and raving seen in the late 80âs early 90âs where he dedicated his time as a DJ and clubber. Ed Vertov, the Russian owner of the Los Angeles record shop Stellar Remnant has been served with a 30-day eviction notice by their landlord.
The store, which specializes in electronic music, shared the news via social media last Friday, March 11th, alongside a photo of the notice, which is dated March 2nd. The posts were likely written by Ed Vertov. More will be reported as more of this story unfolds.
According to Reuters, Pope Francis was filmed casually coming out of a local record store with music in hand. The pope known for his taste in classical music was visiting friends of the shop and just came to pick up a box of CDs. Known for not using large police escorts the pope tried to sneak in and out of the shop with just the company of one Vatican employee.
