It’s now the night of the show and you get to the door, and your ticket doesn’t scan. This type of fraud (ticket scams) is the worst feeling for any music fan. You cannot get into the show, and even worse, you cannot get your money back from the scammer because they have disappeared. How does the music industry combat fraud at this point? The answer may actually come in the form of blockchain ticketing.

The music industry is now broken to a great extent, and it is worse than it was at least ten years ago. The sale of music CDs has been down from approximately 84% in the last decade. However, the streamlining numbers have been increased. Attending any kind of rave can be dangerous these days, as we are still in the middle of a pandemic after all. But the dangers do not stop there, as a recent rave in the Norwegian capital city of Oslo demonstrates: almost 30 ravers at a “Rave Cave” event were victim of carbon monoxide poisoning.
The “Rave Cave” event took place at a secret bunker in the Norwegian capital and was attended by around 200 party goers.
The early 1990s were the rave heydays, undoubtedly some of the most electrifying years for the international electronic and dance music world. Collectively, the various underground parties and concerts became known as “raves,” although later the term was specifically used to refer to illegal parties hosted in a myriad of different locations including warehouses, lofts, industrial open-areas, forests, the desert, etc.
