Nick Warren’s CRSSD debut is right around the corner, and he forms part of a premiere line-up that has sold-out the spring festival. The progressive house DJ and producer is ready to take the decks in San Diego during the weekend of March 7-8 alongside leading electronic artists including Rufus du Sol. The Australian trio are partnering with festival organizers to raise funds for the Australia bushfire relief funds. We chatted with the Bridport native on his career legacy and rise to prominence as well as leading a balanced life on the road.

Endangered is excited to welcome back Swiss artist Soma Soul with a new 4- track EP called Illusion of Control and featuring a remix from label boss Brian Cid.
Just under a year ago, Zurichâs Soma Soul debuted on Endangered with a spectacular EP of cinematic techno. Since then, heâs had more music come out on Jonas Rathsmanâs ELEMENTS, and Sabbâs RADIANT labels. In his return to Endangered, the Illusion of Control EP continues where the last one left off, and shows the evolution of an artist in a short period of time.

Dani Ivoryâs biography reads like the stuff that most musicians dream of. There are few artists who can boast playing the planetâs largest gigs and festivals alongside some of the worldâs most famous musicians and bands, as Dani Ivory can. In fact, Daniâs vocal skills and ability to perform live on stage in front of tens of thousands of fans earned her band member status with some of the globeâs hottest acts such as Imagine Dragons, Cee Lo Green, and pop superstar BeyoncĂ© to name a few. Daniâs work ethic and hypnotic voice has allowed her to distinguish herself from others in her genre and has allowed her to delve into a very bright looking solo career.
After being introduced to each other by a well-known promoter and spending time together in Los Angeles, Dani took time from her busy schedule to team up with label boss Samer to work on a project that eventually became known as âImmortalâ, which quite naturally makes its way out on Samerâs label Pangea Recordings. âImmortalâ showcases Daniâs ability to work with producers across multiple genres while introducing her fan base to a more progressive approach to dance music through Pangea. Such a package would not be complete without iconic remixers, however.

âMandala Visionsâ was inspired by a sincere, unadulterated dance floor experience Eli Spiral had while attending Whirling Dervishâs Sasha Warehouse Experience that took place in Denver in April. Unsurprisingly, music is the only medium through which he could communicate what he felt – and he did so effectively to say the least.

Inspired by the likes ofEric Prydz, Jeremy Olander, Fehrplay, Guy J, Nick Warren and Hernan Cattaneo, Zehv has released several EPs on Emotional Content Recordings, as well as other track contributions to Aethereal, Massive Harmony and Mystic Carousel Records.
Behind the decks, Zehv has made debuts at some of the Bay Area’s most influential venues, sharing the stage with acts such as Coyu and Chus + Ceballos, with a gig in direct support of Fehrplay on December 8th.
Learn How To Produce Progressive House with Master Darin Epsilon
Music production is a constant learning curve, especially for those newer to the process and facing a seemingly uphill battle needing to learn software and hardware from scratch.
With so many tutorials out there on the subject, it is hard to find a truly quality online tutorial that teaches the production of that Progressive House sound that remains so popular today. Step in DJ, producer and Perspectives Digital label chief Darin Epsilon, an artist with an impressive resumé of productions under his belt and the desire to teach others the fundamental techniques and methods he has learned and discovered while making a name for himself in the Progressive House scene.
Darin teamed up with Sonic Academy to create his own tutorial for the genre, featuring his popular track One Thousand & One Nights. In the tutorial Darin dives into the production process and brings learners right in with him, giving beginners and seasoned producers alike a chance to get insight into the fundamental techniques and methods he uses.
Darin Epsilon Celebrates 50th Release On Perspectives Digital
Seven years ago Chicago-born producer Darin Epsilon founded his label Perspectives Digital. Today, the imprint celebrates its 50th release featuring a collaboration between label boss Darin himself and prolific producer Cid Inc from Finland. The two highly respected artists have collaborated on a multitude of universally praised projects, including their âOutliersâ release in 2015, which launched the labelâs first Beatport Play remix contest.
More recently, the duo achieved monumental success with their remix of âAuralphaseâ by Robert Babicz, which charted in Beatportâs Top 100 Techno Tracks for 50 consecutive days, a testament to their prowess in the studio when collaborating together. Â On the brink of their next DJ tour spanning from Canada to South America, they team up once again for âResistenciaâ & âMyndieâ – two ideal tracks for this milestone release.
The first track âResistenciaâ was inspired from Darin and Cidâs performances in northeast Argentina. This track evokes the vibrancy and love from the city it was named after. âResistenciaâ is an uplifting journey that takes flight with warm and lush pads weaving into radiant chord progressions.
On the flip side is âMyndieâ, a name which stuck with Cid Inc after his performance at the Rainbow Serpent festival earlier this year. In Aboriginal Australian culture, the mythological rainbow serpent is considered to be either the giver of life or cause of great destruction, and is one of the oldest continuing religious beliefs in the world. Creating a rumbling energy and nefarious vibe with its hard kick, shuffling highs, and mechanical sounds, the track will surely be a formidable force on the dancefloor.

Q&A and EP Premiere: Kane Michael Releases 002 on Lights/Out Recordings
Kane Michael is a Southern California producer, DJ, host of the Lights/Out Selection, and label owner of Lights/Out Recordings. He focuses on blending the genres and influences that he holds dear to his heart, creating a mix of dark, psychedelic futuristic techno and aggressive progressive.
His second EP outing on LOR is composed of three original tracks, now available for purchase via Bandcamp and premiered exclusively by 6AM on SoundCloud.
