VTCR, aka Victor Cros, is a 30-year-old French artist. After years of traveling through clubs and European festivals, he finally launched into mixing, and especially into his own musical production at the beginning of 2022. Being totally unknown to the general public, he relies heavily on his first EP released on the San Diego-based label: it’s just noize records, to be able to give him the chance to make himself known, and to be able to really embark on future musical projects like the live shows he’s played in the last couple months. These compositions are focused on Tech-house, but his style is divided between Progressive-house, Tech-house, and Techno.
This year, Cyber Vibe Records has released many phenomenal tracks from the likes of HassegawaH, Brian G, Da Fokin, X.V, Aisec, the imprint owner Alex Schlatweiler, and many more. From the label, it’s hard to find a track that is ridden with bad quality and bad quantity, and to keep up with this good track record, the label has upcoming quality tracks from Issac Blum‘s Progressive House piece Innerself, as well as more coming from Dozikur, INGVI, Deepaa, amongst many others.
The label is also excited to release Brian G‘s former remix Scripturient from a recent remix competition as well as announce their current remix competition that just launched featuring a Melodic Techno and dancefloor filler Sacramento by NIKMIND. The competition itself has acquired a lot of prizes including a hardware synthesizer that isn’t locked by region, allowing anyone to be able to win it worldwide.
Progressive house emerged after the first wave of house music and is one of the major subgenres of house in the electronic music scene. The term is widely used especially today for a large spectrum of 4 on the floor inspired tunes that don’t necessarily fall under the umbrella of a traditional house or techno inspired track. Describing the experimental nature of the music as “progressive” refers to the nuances that cause the new music to differ from what has been considered the normal. If you’re a seasoned progressive house head or only recently becoming familiar with the term, we got you covered. Sit back and enjoy the ride as we dive into progressive house.
Elon Musk has dropped a music video for his 2020-released vocal house track ‘”Don’t Doubt Your Vibe”. The video also doubles up as an advert for the entrepreneur’s Tesla business, soundtracked by Musk’s progressive house cut, featuring the latest car models Y and 3.
The video was produced by Tesla’s China team who prepped the cars and taught them to program their own lighting to put on a light display. The cars put on a mini rave in what appears to be an old warehouse alongside the track’s lyrics which appear behind the Teslas in bright, LED lettering.
