DJ and producer Giuseppe Scarano prepares to launch his debut EP Feel Good on his own NICEPEOPLE imprint, set for release on Friday 2nd August.

A four-track offering with the dancefloor in mind, the EP opens with title track ‘Feel Good’, an understated house groover with a classic vocal sample. ‘Back Sound’ continues the theme of classic house elements as it traverses gently through melodic waters, before Chicago house legend Paul Johnson steps up to deliver an energetic remix of ‘Feel Good’. Paul Johnson, best known for 1999 chart hit ‘Get Down’, delivers an animated twist on the original with distinct synth sounds & heavy-hitting beats, whilst accentuating the original’s jacking groove. Closing the EP with ‘This Love For You’, the final track crafts an infectious house beat, concluding with a blissed-out finale.

Borne from a moment of genuine inspiration, the progressive house single blends classic and cutting-edge elements to yield a sonic tale only such a tenured producer is qualified to tell.

Premiere: Tripeo and Doka Launch New Project “The Leap” with Four Dazzling Cuts Entitled “Plastic Soup”

The Leap is a culmination of endless days and nights, taming sequencers, synthesizers and other sound machines—by both its members, Tripeo and Doka.

Based in Nijmegen, arguably one of Netherland’s most attractive electronic music hubs, each has separately made waves in international waters – Tripeo with his mesmerizingly fierce take on atmospheric techno, and Doka with an equally hypnotizing and relentless musical approach. The launch of their eponymous label marks the next milestone on their journey where they focus on social and environmental issues our planet possesses.

“Each release will have a theme based on an environmental or social subject, as climate change and inequality in the world is of growing concern and music gives an amazing opportunity to connect people worldwide. The idea is not to shy away from the elephants in the room, but to address them in a constructive manner. In that spirit half of the proceeds of each release will be donated to a cause directly linked to the theme of the release.”

“The first release is as the song titles suggest about Plastic. An effective and cheap fabric with many useful purposes, but unfortunately it has become a huge burden on the environment which is taking it’s toll in a dramatic way. Half of the proceeds of this release will go to the Plastic Soup Foundation.” – The Leap

Kicking things off, ‘Single Use’ delivers resonating kicks drifting delicately with swirling modulations and alleviating pads undulating throughout. Next up, ‘Plastic Soup’ deploys winding acid synth progression fused with infectious sweeps and a polished percussive sequence.

‘Covered In Waste’ then offers up clattering off-beat drums layered with emotive low-frequencies and fluctuating oscillations to give off an energetic spectacle before ‘The Clean Up’ rounds things off with an electro-tinged groove balanced with momentum-building rhythms and otherworldly aesthetics.

Tracklist
1. Single Use
2. Plastic Soup
3. Covered In Waste
4. The Clean Up

The Leap Plastic Soup drops on The Leap on 12th July 2019
