Black Diamonds Records is excited to announce this new dub-influenced, downtempo EP from the Maltese producer Lar3n, called Embrace, available on Beatport now.. Lar3n creates an intimate and atmospheric mood through an infusion of eclectic styles. His use of deep sub bass, organic percussion and eastern instruments, such as sitar, tablas, and the Chinese Hulusi, Lar3n brings the listener on a meditative and uplifting journey.
Swiss producer Olan! is back on his 0x01 Records label with five resounding techno cuts entitled Postbreakout Takeover.
Olan! is a Swiss sound designer and live act with a knack for working his modular gear to the maximum. Since 2013 heâs playing techno live sets all around Switzerland and occasionally in Germany, France and Berlin. In 2018 he launched his 0x01 Records imprint for his own material in addition to supporting up and coming acts such as Ghostclusters, Amen Skulker and Der White Rauschen.
Title track âPostbreakout Takeoverâ begins with thunderous kicks, raw modulations and resounding, shattering synths that weave above the techno groove throughout before âOur Digital Skiesâ lays focus on syncopated, breaks tinged rhythms, shimmering low end and emphatic, angelic pads in the background.
âVelocity Scannerâ is an acid-fuelled roller with mean, spiralling 303s, shooting lasers and piercing oscillations while â0x4034A3â offers up a broken techno cut featuring blistering percussion, intensely weighty sonics and entrancing pads underneath. âCosmic Hierarchiesâ rounds off this haunting package with off-kilter, raw drums, alarming soundscapes and powerful moods that make you feel uneasy yet excited all the same

Talented UK producer Simon Sheldon has been journeying across musical genres for many years, producing everything from Drum ‘n’ Bass, Reggae, House and Jazz. The new album from Simon Sheldon, called ‘The Four of Swordsâ, hails the launch of his new label The Freebooter Lounge and an exciting new musical chapter for Simon as he explores the world of ambient Electronica.
Together with guest collaborators Weldon, Spanna, Ciaran, along with well known Irish musicians Lynley Hamilton and Joel Byrne-McCullough, Simon has created a stunning downtempo musical tapestry that weaves between lush, emotive dreamy grooves and experimental cinematic electronica.
This is the first international release for Private Techno label and it comes from NYC’s Deepak Sharma.
DJ, Producer and Curator of Hidden Recordings, Deepak Sharma has been entrenched within techno for over a decade. Known for a cerebral approach to music, Deepak’s sound fits perfectly with Private Techno’s releases.
