Austrian Producer Soundmuffel Delivers Deep Melodic Techno in New EP
Austrian producer Soundmuffel is back with a new four-track EP called Resilience. It features some melodic techno inspired by the slogan “life doesn’t get easier or more forgiving, we get stronger and more resilient.” Driving basslines and spacey sounds complete this picture. His track “Triggering Things” goes deep under the skin. The lovely composed melody guides you through the pain from its ruthless kick and bass.

Premiere: Cosmic Xplorer Debuts on Lune Records With Moving Six-Track “Xploration Of The Unknown” LP
Cosmic Xplorer is a project born from the musical mind of Budapest producer Daniel Hevesi.
Crafted in his Pollux Mastering studio, Hungary’s only mixing and mastering studio dedicated solely to techno, his Xploration Of The Unknown LP is a techno voyage filled with deep and atmospheric soundscapes.
From beginning to end, the six-tracker transports the listener through fields of textured layers, rolling bassline and hypnotic spatial tones.
While cerebral in nature, the LP goes beyond at-home listening and is ideal for dance-floor moments deep into the night, offering well-constructed DJ tools that slide between peak-time play and after-hours music.
It is no surprise, thus, that label boss Moon Phase invited Cosmic Xplorer to release this work of art on Lune Records, for what actually makes the first release on the newly-launched imprint. The fact that Moon Phase has personally released music on SRIE Records, a label that needs no introduction for the sci-fi techno fans, gives us an inclination of the A&R direction for Lune Records, and why Cosmic Xplorer’s Xlporation Of The Unknown LP fits squarely within its musical scope.

Premiere: Tsimtsum Delivers Four Warehouse-Ready Techno Weapons on Feel Raw Audio
Tsimtsum brings his background in classical composition to his powerful debut Tokamak EP on Feel Raw Audio as he explores four deftly detailed techno cuts designed for massive warehouses.
Tsimtsum is a newly emergent artist whose unique sound is already fully formed. It is characterised by “virtuos sound transformation, hyper-symmetric architecture and disciplined dramaturgy. This first ever release reveals the artist to have a wide musical horizon and a big love of, and full dedication to, club sounds.
Twitchy opener ‘Nefertiti’ pairs heavy techno drum work with deft IDM synth design. It is an atmospheric, cavernous cut filled with evocative industrial motifs. The equally impressive ‘Balete’ is another spacious track, this time with dubby chords and fizzing static filling the airwaves as drums way down below grow in menace.

The classy sense of spatial awareness continues on ‘Igor’, an eerie and unsettling track of whirring machines and off-grid percussion that gets ever more manic and unhinged. Last of all, ‘Bakaneko’ is a perfectly swung dub techno banger with subtle effects that bring to mind alien life forms.
