It’s the only house and techno festival in the state. Seismic Dance Event completed its fourth edition which took place this November 12, 13, 14 for all that this house and techno. DAY.MVS XL made its debut in San Diego’s Waterfront Park earlier this month. Lane 8, Nora en Pure, Stacey Pullen and Kevin Saunderson were among some of the electronic music artists who took over the decks. Organized by the same crew who brings CRSSD Festival during the fall and spring, DAY.MVS XL proved to be the perfect way to kickstart the summer festival season after a long musical drought. Photo Gallery: Unreal Images From The Hydra’s Opening at Printworks London

Printworks and The Hydra‘s new series of events began last weekend in impressive style, with a lineup fitting for Printworks’ eye-catching and imposing main room. Icons the likes of Kerri Chandler and John Talabot headlined a who’s who list that included Amsterdam favorite Job Jobse, Italian disco duo Tiger & Woods and Israeli duo Red Axes.

Amsterdam Dance Event 2017 Photo Gallery

Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) has always been a highly anticipated event each year, always managing to exceed expectations of everyone who gets to experience it. This year’s ADE was no exception.

Once again, Amsterdam was buzzing with so much activity taking place all over the unique city over the course of 5 days. The stacked schedule included a flurry of conferences and music performances throughout the day and night, as well as special panels and showcases for the entire electronic music industry to benefit from.

There was so much going on that words are not enough to describe how awesome this year’s ADE was. Instead, we thought we would let some of these great photos fill you in on what happened at ADE 2017.

Photo Gallery: Paul Oakenfold Delivers Opening Deep House Set for Yoshitoshi’s Sharam at Sound Nightclub

 

This past Saturday club goers at Sound Nightclub in Los Angeles were treated to something special and unique when they showed up at the Hollywood venue for Sharam.

The Yoshitoshi label-head and one-half of Deep Dish was given the proper room warm-up treatment by another legend of dance music, Paul Oakenfold. The Perfecto Records boss took control of the decks at the Hollywood club early in the night, playing a surprise opening set filled with entrancing tunes and deep, melodic house.

The performance once again underscored Oakenfold’s prowess as a track selector, allowing everyone lucky enough to be in attendance to witness the veteran DJ and producer steer away from his pure signature Trance and Progressive side toward something deeper and, in this particular case, unique.
