Over 1,000 illegal ravers took to Dorset’s Lulworth this weekend, which has since jokingly been compared to the Partygate scandal, in defense of the all-night ravers. The day-long event began in the early hours of Easter Sunday when ravers descended upon Lulworth Ranges in southeast Dorset which was subsequently shut down some 21 hours later by police.
Over the weekend, an illegal rave took place in the national park of Dartmoor, Devon, leading to an eight-hour cleanup over the following days. Between February 12 – 13, a party took place in amongst the nature reserve where, subsequently, hundreds of empty drinks cans, bottles, and camping equipment were left.
Park wardens Dartmoor Rangers took to the site on Monday, February 14, where an enormous cleanup operation ensued.
A new political campaign group in Ibiza, Podemos, are calling on the government to ban all beach clubs and so-called ‘hotel discos’ on the island. The action group argue that these nighttime spots have become a “serious inconvenience” for those living on the island, as music can be heard “for miles”.

Not many things are creepier than long-abandoned locations, places long forgotten by time and people. They often exude a sense of foreboding that make them far too eerie for most to visit, yet offer some of the coolest locations to explore and see something different from the norm.
The truth is, however, that some of the world’s abandoned places also make for great venues, especially for raves and warehouse-type parties, not unlike the spaces thousands would flock to during the rave era of the ’80s and ’90s. When the rave bug hits you, it hits you hard, and no one is exempt from it. Not even cops.
That is exactly what happened when three squads of the Berlin’s police force had to be sent home after partying too hard at a party they threw leading up to the G20 summit next week.
Berlin’s squads 14, 15 and 32 were actually stationed in Hamburg in preparation for the political event, and it is at their headquarters where they were stationed that they instigated a huge party that spiraled out of control. There they drank heavily, urinated in the open on surrounding fences, and engaged in public sex as loud music played.
People usually go to Airbnb to find a place to sleep while visiting a new city. But some tourists have a somewhat different idea altogether.
That was apparently the case when a group of tourists decided to turn their rented one-bedroom Airbnb pad in Canonbury, London, UK into a full-fledged nightclub. Full-fledged in the sense that it had a a DJ, bouncer and a professional sound system set up. And yes, they even charged tickets to enter the flat and managed to draw a 200+ crowd that spilled into the street.
“It sounded like fabric was upstairs,” one neighbor said. “It was just the constant bass thud. We saw one guy carrying in DJ equipment.”
Unfortunately, the pad was located in a residential area, and as such the event frustrated the neighbors trying to get some rest for the night.
“It was like a football crowd,” said another neighbor who was at home at the time with his pregnant wife. “It was the worst night ever. I could hear the music louder than if I was playing it in my own living room.”
The owner of the flat was out of the country at the time. Upon hearing the news, he felt “terrible and couldn’t do anything.”
The local town council members first attempted to put the party to the stop but weren’t able to do so. Eventually, the police arrived at 3AM though they decided to wait for backup due to the size of the crowd.
Police started clearing out the party after 4:30AM, with the party ultimately ending shortly after 6AM
