Premiere: Manchester’s ONYVA Releases Four-Track “Sambo” EP on ON IT Recordings

For a relatively infant label, ON IT Recordings is dishing out big releases like a seasoned pro. For the 11th offering on the increasingly popular imprint, they’ve called upon the Mancunian maestro and label boss – ONYVA.

ONYVA’s discography includes releases on the likes of Toolroom Records, Cr2, Red Lunar and, of course, he features heavily guiding this label’s sound and direction. It is for this reason that we featured him on our Global Vibe Radio series earlier this year.

To date, ON IT Recordings has featured the likes of Wally Lopez, Franky Wah, Mark Jenkyns, Apollo 84 and Jey Kurmis among other current influencers that are shaping the dancefloor delights across the globe. It’s clear to see that this label knows exactly which path it’s taking and is confidently marching on.

The Sambo EP is a four track heavyweight that’s just begging to square up to Ibizan demands and floor them entirely. We are premiering two of the four tracks from the release, which is out tomorrow July 31st and available for order via Beatport.

Premiere: Listen to MEMA’s “Show Me” From ON IT Recordings’ Retrospective Collection Compilation

UK top Tech House label ON IT Recordings start their year on a reflective note with a tasty new compilation highlighting some of their key releases since their inception in 2017. Giant dancef loor gems come from Jey Kurmis, Hott Like Detroit, Funk D’Void and more, along with ON IT chief ONYVA‘s biggest label release to date ‘Tibetan People’. The compilation also features 4 brand new *exclusives for 2018 including Hott Like Detroit‘s ‘Want My Thing, Mark Holmes & David Bradshaw‘s ‘You’, along with some heat from newcomers to the ON IT crew including Yorkshire’s Franky Wah with ‘Empire’ and MEMA with ‘Show Me’. Premiere: Listen to Mark Jenkyn’s Remix of Jey Kurmis’ “Es Est”

Closing out the label’s brilliant 2017 in style, ON IT Recordings welcome man of the moment, Jey Kurmis (Hot Creations, Moon Harbour), to the fold with a powerful Tech House jam “Es Est”. Destined to annihilate dance-floors this party season, Jey delivers an energetic bouncy tech romp drizzled with creatively cut up vocals. Fellow Hot Creations cohort Mark Jenkyns cooks up a stomping remix teased with dark throbs and airy arpeggios and closing out the package Apollo 84 whack’s up the Techno thermostat delivering an intense, growling slammer for the darker floors.

Since making his Hot Creations debut with ‘Lil’ Nick French EP’, Leeds based DJ / Producer Jey Kurmis has continued to grow a superb music portfolio with releases on Moon Harbour Kaluki, Leftroom, Material and more, as well as many others for Hot Creations. Having honed his craft over the past 10 years, Jey’s sound carries distinctively dark heavy bass lines and edgy vocals, winning support from the likes of Jamie Jones, Adam Beyer, Matthias Tanzmann, Green Velvet and many more. Jey has played the likes of DC-10, The Warehouse Project, WMC, Sonar, BPM and many mor, along with part residencies with Paradise, Do Not Sleep and Zoo Project.
