Stepping up for the seventh release on revered NYC based label, MINIM Records, are Montreal based pair, Ohm Hourani and Gab. The three track EP goes by the name of Vicho and includes stellar remixes from veteran producer, Jay Tripwire and label founder, Ruslan.
Some household names of the minimal scene here all wrapped up into one package, Ohm Hourani releases this off the back of a fantastic EP on Sammy Dee’s Ultrastretch label, building his reputation around creating jazz influenced minimal crossing the bridges of both genres. Chief remixer Jay Tripwire, needs no introduction, the Canadian has turnt out copious amounts of high quality releases over the years on respected labels Swag, Deepen Discs, Bass Culture, the list is quite literally endless. The label have previously released various artists including Pheek, Kike Mayor, Dragutesku, Derek Carr and more.
With all this in mind, we caught up with Ohm Hourani and Gab to learn more.
