Bringing Back the Old School: Together As One Set to Return for NYE
Remember when hoards of neon-dippedĀ and flashy kandi kids enthusiastically flocked to the LA Sports Arena on New Year’s eve for a united experienceĀ at a rave massive? The good old days are making a comebackĀ as Together As One returns after a four-year hiatus. TAO, as it is endearingly called by its many fans, made an announcement on its Facebook page that it will be returning to Southern California for all dance music veterans and newcomers to ring in the 2016 new year.
Together As One was the collaborative effort between Go Ventures and Insomniac capping off the winter festival season, until Insomniac branched off with their White Wonderland NYE event. The last event that took place on the eve of the 2012 new year saw some familiar names like Duck Sauce, Dirty South, Diplo, Felix da Housecat, The Bloody Beetroots, and Funkagenda. TAO has a special place close to the heart and soul of dance music lovers. For old schoolers, TAO 2015 could be the eagerly awaited revival of PLUR.

CW/A (Clockwork + Avatism) NYE Live at Fabric London
CW/A aka Clockwork and Avatism just released their 1 hour Live mix from the NYE party at the infamous Fabric London. The two have not released their live set since Sonar in 2013. This one hour deep-hypnotic-techno-grunge truly compliments the style of CW/A, this monster set will hopefully set pace for 2015 where music lovers are very much anticipating the next releaseĀ of Clockwork and Avatism’s work.

Minimal Effort is aiming to finish 2014Ā and start the new year strong with a NYE celebrationĀ that is a must attend for music lovers as they bring you a stellar line up featuring DJ T. / Three / Fur Coat / Human Resources in room one while the beloved House &Ā Techno Desert dwellers, Desert Hearts, take over the second room showcasing their sound and vibeĀ that has swept the scene off the floor, residents Mikey Lion, Lee Reynolds, Porkchop, Deep Jesus and Marbs will be on command.
It’s still hard to comprehend that the vision and brand of Minimal Effort is not even a year old despite much of its success during their inaugural season with bold and eclectic bookings such as Balcazar & Sordo, Daniel Bortz, Audiofly, Alex Niggemann, and their Supernature Halloween showcase that left a memorable imprint leavingĀ party-goers wanting more.
