Dirtybird Campout with Claude Von Stroke & Friends

DB-Campout

Dirtybird label boss, Claude Von Stroke, hinted on his facebook page yesterday that a Camp out gathering is in the near future promising to showcase “All of your favorite DJs in the world”, a bold statement that’s creating a rapid buzz.

Not much has been leaked about what this camp out will entail nor where this will even take place, but speculations are hinting either somewhere in the Bay area (Headquarters) or right here in Southern California as weather could be more favorable in early October.

After seeing success on their world renowned Dirtybird BBQ, it seems the Big Bird is taking ventures beyond his own backyard and in to the wilderness. Keep an eye out for this one, a weekend camp out with Claude Von Stroke and his talented friends sounds quite enticing as one fan’s comment basically summarizes it all….”shut up and take our money”.

Sankeys and Tribal Sessions have officially cut ties with resident and house veteran, Darius Syrossian. Tribal Sessions took to Facebook earlier today to make the announcement stating that Syrossian was “bringing the club [Sankeys] and brand into disrepute”. As expected, Syrossian took to social media to express his thoughts on the matter while Tribal Sessions is receiving harsh criticism from fans.

In addition to announcing their termination with Syrossian, Tribal Sessions has also stated that they will be announcing a new Tribal Sessions resident in the near future. Whatever the reason may be, there is clearly a lot going on behind the scenes between all entities involved. For the official announcements and response see the screen shots below.

Le Lourve Body Banner

“To have complete artistic access to Le Louvre isn’t something that is regarded lightly. It’s really a once-in-a-lifetime experience” – Jeff Mills

Legendary techno pioneer, Jeff Mills, has recently been showcasing his latest media exhibit at the iconic Le Louvre Museum in Paris, France. His vision for “Duos EphĂ©mĂšres” draws inspiration from the Egyptian theme at Le Louvre, and is an immersive experience ranging from music and cinematography including a special collaboration with renowned French choreographer, Michel Abdoul.

Jeff Mills will always be regarded as The Wizard when it comes to techno, and this recent exhibition at Le Louvre is further testament to his incredible vision and talents. Duos EphémÚres is scheduled to run until June giving people plenty of time to experience this ground-breaking exhibit.

“All the presentations and performances revolve around the subject of time – approaching the subject from various angles in hopes of revealing something precious to the audiences. It is a subject that links all living things together. I designed it to be the common thread that ties all the concepts together” – Jeff Mills

Allen & Heath Release New Analog Mixer

Xone 43 featured

Allen & Heath introduced the Xone:43, a new mixer to their popular mixer series.

Like their flagship Xone:92, the Xone:43 will feature an analog voltage-controlled filter (VCF) with low, high, and bandpass configurations with resonance control. It boasts all the features one would expect from a high quality mixer. Four phono/line channels with incredibly smooth channel faders make up the Xone:43, with a three band EQ per channel. While a four band EQ would have been nice, it is by no means a deal breaker.

The Allen & Heath Xone:43 is available now with a retail price of approximately $1,300. For more information, take a look at the video below or head over to the Allen & Heath Official Site.
