Clone Distribution has dropped Nina Kraviz and her трип label over the Russian artist’s response to the ongoing war in Ukraine.

The decision was outlined in detail last week via a post on Clone’s blog, written by founder Serge Verschuur (aka Serge). He criticized Kraviz for her alleged “pro-Putin” views and “CCCP/USSR sentiments,” as well as her decision “to stay silent” on the atrocities in Ukraine.

Latroit Revives Static Revenger Alias with The Sponges on “Music In My Mind” EP

Best known by his aliases Latroit and Static Revenger, Dennis White is a Grammy Award-winning music producer that’s inspired by Detroit’s underground scene. His homage to Detroit techno also influenced is take on modern dance music.

For Music In My Mind, Dennis has revived his Static Revenger alias alongside the “dukes of disco” duo The Sponges (Ryan Slepin and Nik Eaton). Tech-House Shown as Most Popular Electronic Music Genre

According to a newly released business report presented at Ibiza’s International Music Summit (IMS), tech-house has overtaken techno as the most popular electronic genre. The report stated that the genre shot past the previous favorite in Beatport sales in 2021, marking it the new best-seller.

After holding second place for the past two years, tech-house has officially climbed one space up the rankings, while house music stays in the third spot, and techno moves down to second place.
