German producer mexCalito, releases Director’s Cut EP for Shadow Wulf Records’ sixteenth release. Mex has been focused in the studio creating constantly and rapidly maturing his mixing and mastering skills under the mentorship of fellow collaborator Dubs. Mex’s tracks are being released by some of the world’s best underground techno labels. His sound is characterized by hypnotic rolling basses and experimental rhythms and effects, a cross between Techno, Zenon, Minimal and a kind of haunting psychedelic groove. With this latest release, Mex’s matured sound is on display, showing off the connection between the technoid and minimalistic styles, and mesmerizing with a bevy of psychotropic effects for that characteristic psytech sound.

Australian DJ and producer Tomchilla releases his debut EP ‘In Heat’ on Shadow Wulf Records. You may have heard the numerous remixes and tracks he’s already contributed to compilations featuring dark minimal sound. It’s no surprise that his first solo expedition is a slick snapshot of what’s happening across the dark, minimal, psy-tech genre at the moment.
