Massive Attack’s 3D Co-Founds AI System to Expose Climate Misinformation

Massive Attack’s Robert Del Naja, aka 3D, is part of a team that has developed a new AI system designed to flag climate misinformation shared on social media. Eco-Bot.Net, which launched late last month, is currently set up to focus on flagging greenwashing ads by large companies, with the team behind the bot describing greenwashing as “a tactic used to mislead consumers about the green credentials of a product or service, or about the environmental performance of a company”. The system has so far flagged around 1,400 social posts on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter containing false or misleading information about climate change.

Emika will this year mark the tenth anniversary of her debut self-titled album. A new body of work titled Vega will be unveiled throughout the year, comprising a trilogy of three collections of songs. This will feature some reimagined versions of classic tracks from her Ninja Tune catalogue, including ‘Professional Loving’ (which was sampled by The Weeknd on his track ‘Professional’). ‘Vega’ will also showcase new material including collaborations with Horace Andy (Massive Attack), Liela Moss (The Duke Spirit), and techno behemoth RĂždhĂ„d.

The elusiveness of Banksy. Officials from around the world and fans alike have been speculating for years about the true identity of the guerrilla graffiti artist, yet no conclusive evidence has ever been found.

The latest theory, forwarded by 31 year old investigative journalist Craig Williams, stakes a claim that the man behind the controversial art is also a man of music: Massive Attack founder Robert “3D” Del Naja. At best, the conclusion states that if Del Naja isn’t Banksy himself, he is at least responsible for a team of people that is behind the project which has appeared in all corners of the globe since its inception in the early-to-mid 90s.
