Love Long Beach Festival returns July 27 and 28 for its sixth edition with a stellar line up in tow. Splitting the event between two stages — the Subtract stage and the Noise stage — this oceanside event will provide sonic guidance from all across the dance music spectrum.

As a brand, Subtract has built its reputation on finding subtle yet immense talent in the realm of house and techno. Their regular event “Subtract on the Pier” has attracted well-known selectors including Patrice Baumel, Marques Wyatt, Doc Martin, and a slew of other serious musicians. The Subtract stage at this year’s Long Beach Love Festival (LLBF) will host favorites such as those listed prior as well as some first-time artists who are sure to make an impression like Lubelski and Rinzen.

Mexico’s RHA Fest Drops Lineup Featuring Green Velvet, Claptone, Catz ‘n Dogz and more

A new Mexican festival is set to debut this year, as RHA Festival drops its inaugural lineup for the event taking place in Punta Mita in the Riviera Nayarit.

This new festival experience in the sands of the famed Punta Mita Resort is just two hours from Southern California, making it an accessible festival for people across the border too. RHA means water flowing in wixárika, the language of the indigenous people of Mexico’s Nayarit region. Flow, is a reference that tells us about their journey of life. The water that flows, the water that evaporates, the water that rains and returns.

Catz ‘N Dogz, Camea, Marques Wyatt & Wolf + Lamb Booked for “The Sidewalk Ends” Festival in Washington D.C.

Washington D.C. is about to be graced with a brand-new daytime festival to be held at Union Market. The Sidewalk Ends will be the first of its kind in the city’s capital – an entirely “underground-focused” festival organized by the D.C.’s Flash nightclub in collaboration with party collective Prescription.

The one-day event will take place on Sunday, July 24th, in a hidden outdoor area of Union Market complete with two separate stages, full bars, vendors, food trucks and plenty of shaded areas. As you would expect from any lineup curated by Flash and Prescription, the artists booked so far to play the Funktion One sound systems at The Sidewalk Ends include top-tier names of the world’s underground house and techno scene.

Although the promoters are planning to announce additional headliners, we already know that attendees will experience performances by Dirtybird recording artists Catz ‘N Dogz, Bpitch Control’s Camea, Los Angeles-based Marques Wyatt, Keith Worthy from Detroit, Flash’s very own DJ Lisa Frank and Navbox, Prescription collective member Juan Zapata and a selection of other fine local D.C. artists such as Yola, Benoit and Hot Coffee.

Tickets are on sale now and while $10 early bird sold out already, $15 pre-sales are still available!

B3 Hosts West Coast Legends Party after One Tribe Cancellation

Many people were looking forward to the highly anticipated One Tribe festival this weekend in Southern California. Since the announcement of One Tribe being cancelled, several notable events have popped up filling the void in the festivals wake. Originally scheduled to host a stage at the inaugural festival, B3 and E-vent Agency will now host a West Coast Legends Party at The Globe Theatre in Downtown Los Angeles.

B3 and E-vent Agency will be hosting iconic artists, Doc Martin, Mark Farina, DJ Dan, Marques Wyatt, and DJ Garth for an all night house music affair. Throughout twenty years of house music in Los Angeles, these individuals played pivotal roles in shaping the scene that we know today, and every time they take to the decks it’s a new and exciting performance.

Saturday September 26th will be no exception, as the Globe Theatre will be transformed into a haven for the essential grooves of the West Coast legends.
