Digging Deeper with Mark Fanciulli

This year is looking to be a busy one for Mark Fanciulli. He recently released the club-ready Moving On EP on Solardo’s SolĂ€ label and an EP on  Berlin label Mobilee Records under his more underground Test Tone alias, which he produces under with Zoo Brazil.
Mark also has music coming out with his brother Nic, Josh Wink as well as a release on Joris Voorn’s label. On the tour front, Mark ended 2017 with a tour of Asia, and this year has played across the UK, Germany, Switzerland and Malta, with a South America tour in May to come.
The producer last year enjoyed releases on Seth Troxler’s Play It Say It, Stereo, Moda Black and his own Between 2 Points record label, which is also a successful radio series.

We had an in-depth chat with Mark ahead of what’s about to be a very busy end of spring for him

Techno Therapy: Mark Fanciulli – The Abyss EP

Mark-Fanciulli

With just 3 years of production under his belt, Mark Fanciulli, is proving why he’s considered one of the rising talents to hit the scene in recent times. This extended release that came out this past Summer showcases Mark’s drive to reinvent and push forward.

Fanciulli challenges us with this original cut that provides the dark, pumping techno drive with piercing vocals and banging drums fuse in a culmination of rumbling bass that is sure to give the toughest of dance-floors a good run. Of the two big-name remixers includes ROD who delivers an epic take on Mark’s track, utilizing every element in his own way to create a true techno record imitating sounds of early Detroit, with grand breakdowns and uplifting basslines. The grand finale of the EP comes from Greek-born Nikola Gala, who creates the most timid of mixes on this package, but still manages to keep the core peak-time feel of the track. Nikolas’ remix features wandering basslines and some extremely well balanced drums to round off a peak-time package of dancefloor bombs. That’s this week’s special triple dose of Techno Therapy, you can grab the EP and check out the Inmotion catalog here on Beatport.
