CircoLoco Debuts in Austin & Welcomes Marco Carola, Michael Bibi & More

Today, revered underground party brand CircoLoco announced their return across the Atlantic to host their first U.S. date of the year, touching down for their Austin, Texas debut on February 25 at the Concourse Project. The show will be produced in collaboration with longtime North American partners, Teksupport and local partner Stranger Than. Following the success of CircoLoco’s 2021 U.S. tour, which saw CircoLoco curate world class dance floors in New York, Miami, and Los Angeles, the brand is poised to continue their U.S. pilgrimage, bringing their globally admired Balearic rave stateside once again.

CircoLoco Austin will play host to the sounds of fellow Ibiza resident and RUMORS beach party curator Guy Gerber alongside Italian-born techno institution and Music On founder Marco Carola, Solid Grooves icon Michael Bibi, and PVBLIC XCESS’ ChloĂ© Caillet. 

CircoLoco is one of underground dance music’s longest running brands, representing house and techno for over twenty years through its parties at Ibiza’s DC10 and around the world. As its reputation has grown, CircoLoco’s dance floor has become a principal intersection between underground dance music and elements of fashion, art and wider culture.

Let me preface this article by saying that any artist that is able to tour heavily, playing two to three gigs a weekend, should recognize they have a lot to be grateful. Yet, it’s also true that a scheduled filled with heavy touring often has a negative correlation with music production and releases.

This article isn’t meant to portray such as a scenario as unfavorable or as a burden, but the opposite. Further, while I am not discounting the fact that these artists had to work hard to get to that level of touring, it must be recognized being able to play 2-3 traveling gigs every week is certainly a sign that your career is on a great trajectory, and it certainly puts you levels ahead of most electronic music producers and DJs.

Portugal’s Neopop Festival Offers Free Entry on the Opening Day with St. Germain, Ivan Smagghe and Many More!

In 2009, Neopop was developed after changing it’s name from Anti-pop. It is now in it’s 14th edition at the Viana Do Castelo in Portugal and takes place from August 8th to 11th.  Music On Festival is set to return in 2018 for its second year, with the clear-cut promise of being bigger and even better this time around.
